Got a new router (Google Nest Wifi) but I'm having a hard time finding out how to get my Smartthings hub (gen2) back online. Current setup: Nest Wifi has ethernet cable going to a TP Link ethernet switch then a cable leaves the switch to the Smartthings hub. The app still shows the hub with the old network name but nowhere to enter in information with the new network details. Thoughts?

The 2nd gen is wired only, so as long as it's plugged in and you can see it online in the app, you don't have to do anything else.

@arthur1499 that's the problem, it's plugged in and the app (classic and new) show that it's offline

You may need to unplug it (and remove the batteries) for a to force it to reconnect.

@arthur1499 just got it to work by connecting the hub directly to the router. I'll give it a few minutes then try adding back in the switch. Sadly the Nest Wifi only allows for 1 ethernet out. I have to use a switch to split the signal to other devices that need a wired connection. I am also trying to avoid having to upgrade to 3rd gen hub, don't want to have to reprogram my whole system

Wired is best anyway, and having to use a switch shouldn't matter at all.

If you have a TP Link ethernet switch then it shouldn't matter how many "outputs" the nest wifi has. If I was doing it, I would hook it up like this. ISP -> wan side of router. Then lan side of router -> TP Link switch. Then from the switch go to the nest wifi. Also from the switch go to the smartthings hub. Don't use the output on the nest wifi.

Try plugging both Ethernet cables (from the ST hub and the Nest WiFi) into the LAN ports of the TP-Link switch leaving the WAN port empty.
