I have a couple devices that are showing offline in the new app, but I can control them thru the classic app, they respond to Smart Lighting routines, I can control them from Alexa, but Alexa tells me the device is offline even though it controlled it, but they won’t respond to anything from webcore. Just started doing this Monday for the first time in over a year. What do I need to do to bring them back online?

I’ve stopped chasing this, ST is going through changes and it’s just not worth it. I have devices that show offline at random in the new app yet they work fine. In Classic I just turned off device health to get rid of the annoyance, can’t find that setting in the new.

@faeroese I only use the apps for setup, all my control is done through AT so I just ignore the apps.

New app sucks and from another poster Classic is being shut down soon, as in emails are supposed to be going out this week that it's dead. So we are screwed.

@sammy I’ll believe it when I see it!

@dye me too but sooner or later it will go away. And since they have been running 2 for over a year, sooner is more likely. The guy said hey got the info at CES from ST. But who knows

They are trying to push people to migrate but they know there are some sticky areas. I've not heard of any firm date, and they'd be foolish to do that until those problem areas are resolved. At VES they talked about their replacement for WebCore, but have you seen that either? ;)
