So I discovered that if I am on my wifi I cannot access the Smartapps in the new app. If I use cell service I can access it. I don't have this problem with the classic app. Thoughts?

Reboot router and phone.  
The SmartThings Group is where you can always find questions, answers, advice, reviews & recommendations from other community members about home automation with the Samsung SmartThings hub.
