Is anyone having issues with smart lighting automations not working properly? I use smart lighting to group smart bulbs from a virtual switch.

Last year after a little research I chose to start working with Smartthings and Hubitat. After tinkering with both for a couple of months I started using Smartthings exclusively as I found the UI much easier and hubitat seemed like it was a much steeper learning curve. Over the past couple of months, ST started to become very glitchy and its own devices started dropping off the ST hub. Not to mention the constant drops from the internet or ST server being down. Advanced configurations require IDE work or webcore, something I was trying to avoid and leading me to ST in the beginning. Add on the multitude of posts like yours and here I am now using hubitat exclusively for the past two months. Everything works. Every automation, every motion driven light turns on/off as specified, and all of my hue products work seamlessly within and independent of hubitat. The learning curve with hubitat wasn't as steep as I originally feared and it's getting easier everyday. The dashboard product needs some work but is usable and I recently started tinkering with sharptools so my UI will be better in the end. This post is so long that I don't know if I even answered your question.
