Yes. Running through webcore. Not sure if it would be any better directly through ST, but would be more limiting and more difficult to setup.

@complaisance8857 running webcore IS running through ST. The webcore ui is just a ui. All your pistons run inside your SmartThings cloud as a smartapp.

@waw1 same. Noticed presence was delayed by nearly 3 minutes which screws up as lot of my automation

@edisonedit I work in IT and am certified in AWS. I'm pretty sure they aren't provisioning enough servers or resources. Performance has degraded alot since the release of the new Samsung app. They need to look into why it's not performing well. But they got our money already so ‍♂️

No, but I did not long ago. I thought likely too many things trying to zip through my wifi, as times when I wasn't streaming in several places, and printing, and whatnot, it was ok. I've reorganized a bit, and it seems fine now. I'm bad to have three things streaming at once, and that seems to bag it.

Why do people mention wifi if the devices connect via zwave or zigbee to the hub, and the hub connects to the router with an ethernet cable?

Because, ultimately, all traffic flows through a single pipeline. Wireless or not. Pretty simple. Think outside the box .

Many automations still run over the internet. Webcore, IFTTT, etc.

@complaisance8857 I think most people mean internet in general when they say WiFi. Also, V3 hub doesn’t need to connect via Ethernet.
