For months, I’ve waited for Peanut plugs to go back on sale for $10, down from $15, because I was in no hurry. Now, not only did they not go on sale, but they went up to $18! Is that a tariff thing? I can keep waiting, but that hasn’t worked out very well so far. What do people recommend to strengthen my Zigbee mesh? I’m trying to avoid bulbs, but I’m flexible. Thanks!

Using the peanut plugs has worked well for me extending my ZigBee network.

It just sucks because you know that if you bought them for $18 today l that they’d go on sale for $10 tomorrow

@endoplasm17 they’re ugly, but are one of the best zigbee repeaters.

@endoplasm17 yes, they are a bit large and block off a good portion of the left of the plug, but maybe that gives them more room for the radio antenna placement. I bought 6 last week to set up a repeater network for my smart vents to utilize. I'll see if battery life in those devices improves over time. Decent for $10. Note that there is no local button for switching the outlet.

@mullin battery life in my Keen Vents and all other zigbee devices improved greatly once I scattered 10 peanut plugs around my home and garage. No issues with zigbee now. And they were 10 when grabbed them.

$17, run local, look good and expend your zigbee. Forget about those ugly wall warts.

What annoyed me about those is they continued to ship units with old firmware and required their router to update. Fantastic units but dang.
