Best answer
Only the Pro is Z-Wave which would allow you to connect directly to the ST Hub. The others work with SmartThings through a cloud-to-cloud connection but you need the Connect Bridge.

@leader5 could I not connect the hub via Bluetooth to the lock?

SmartThings hubs aren't bluetooth enabled.
