Question

Are there any buttons that work with a V1 hub? I bought an Ikea Tradfri and found out the hard way that it doesn't work with a V1 Hub.

The round IKEA dimmer switch works with v1 hub. So does the SmartThings button. I have both working. I like the concept of the round one, but it seems less reliable than other buttons. The SmartThings button is consistently reliable.

@yaker9825 What have you tried to pair the circle IKEA remote to your ST v1 hub? I personally have a v2 hub and use two types of IKEA remotes with it, using ABC Manager to map the buttons to what actions I want. Maybe @shoer2397 can share more on how he got his dimmer to pair and work with his v1 hub.

The lightify switch overlay works. It has two buttons.

@mullin Filas youd have to read the thread about it on the SmartThings forum to get all the details, but basically, there is a firmware update needed for the hub that makes them work, but they're only putting out that firmware update to v2+ hubs.
