Hi, Does anyone use xioami aqara sensors? I have two humidity and temperature sensors that just disconnected and I’m not able to reconnect. Has anyone else had that problem?

I have 2 of them. Both were disconnected this morning. Reconnected 1 so far, but haven't attempted the other one yet.

@disequilibrium what device handler are you using ? Also , do you hold the reset button, wait for it to blink then click the reset button every two seconds?

@storied this only the 2nd time they have gone offline. The first time i stuffed around with them for ages. Then found just going to the add device screen and tap the scan button. Then press the button a couple of times. They then reconnect after about 10-15 seconds.

@disequilibrium I tried deleting all device handlers and republishing. Haven’t gotten anything to work all day

@storied the Outdoor temp sensor i just reconnected. The indoor one i did this morning. Don't mind the logos i have been playing around with device handlers in the past and never got them back to the temp one since the latest software update.

While it is scanning i just press the button on the sensor a couple of times.

@disequilibrium ahh. I see. I’m using the old app and have a version 2 hub. Might make all the difference

@storied just do the same in the old app. This is mine, obviously the sensors are still searching at the moment.

Tried the new app. nothing. Thinking I may need to hunt for a new device handler . Just not sure what the problem is

@storied above screen shot is the old app. Maybe you need to start from the start again now if you have removed the device handlers. Good luck.

I have had loads if them over the years but have started to phase them out. I have some that have never lost the connection and others I have had to pair quite a bit and couldn't be bothered trying to reconnect them. I have replaced a few of them with the IKEA buttons and motions sensors and I find these to be very reliable and work well.

Have the water leak sensor that never stays connected (with BSPRANGER DH) more than half a day or so. Have given up on reconnecting.

They are cheap but IMO not worth the trouble, the 3 motion sensors in had continually disconnected, the contact sensors are ok, I'm still using one but will probably phase it out when the battery dies.
