Question

Hi Everyone, recently I re-did my kitchen and I installed Gledopto zigbee led controlled with RGBWW led strip. All work nice, paired with ST hub and Google. I can change the color but that's about it. Can anyone suggest some cool tricks (is there a routine which slowly would cycle through all the colors for example) or is there a way to sync the lights to the music?

My experience with these is they kill other zigbee traffic if they are part of the same mesh. They only transfer a short message and cause problems with other zigbee stuff. If you don’t have other zigbee, then no problem. It won’t be an issue until your mesh rebuilds. BUT you can have them join a Hue hub and they work great. Hue has music apps, gradually color changes, etc. better than most in the ST app, and you can still control the lights from ST.

@tosspot I don't have Hue hub. Just a direct connection to ST. It's been connected for a while now and I have not noticed any issues (maybe I'm lucky
