I'm looking for an adjustable level noise sensor that works with SmartThings. Any suggestions?

What kidna of noise like a smoke alarm or intruder noise?

Ideally just a decibel threshold. I'd like the option to trigger actions when it detects loud noise in the room.

The Netatmo Weather Station Base Module reports Sound Pressure Level in db.

Keep in mind that it is not intended as a security sensor. It reports sound levels as part of the rest of its weather sensor data once every 15 minutes. There is no immediate report if you exceed a threshold.

I'm surprised at the dirth of simple sound sensors in the ecosystem. This seems like it would be a fairly common activity to monitor. What about an indoor camera? Seems like a lot of the newer ones include the ability to record when motion or noise is detected. Does anyone know whether these cameras allow you to trigger actions in SmartThings based on noise detection?

Wyze cams have the ability to listen for a loud noise, as well as the standard tones for both smoke and CO detectors. The sound trigger is adjustible. To use it with ST, create an IFTTT triggering on Wyze-->Sound Detected and have that trip whatever you want in ST. Super Easy and surprisingly quick to fire - IFTTT used to have delays from near instant to 15 seconds, but the last few months I've only had near instant, awesome - hope that continues. The only issue I've had with it is the sound level, while adjustible is kinda touchy even at low sensitivity.

Jason, perfect. I've been looking for an excuse to get one of these anyway. Thanks!
