I tried this once using the lux reading on smart weather tile in webCoRE. It’s nothing smooth (wasn’t for me at least) because I’d defined ranges so like 100-200 lux would be one percentage brightness, 201-500 would be another percentage brightness, etc. Not sure you could do one for one or whether it would even be worth the time you’d spend doing it.

@subtreasury70 the lux reading on the smart weather tile isn't actually lux. it's weather conditions. It's hardcoded into the dth. Storms = 200 Rain/cloud/chancerain/etc = 1000 Mostly cloudy = 2500 Partly cloudy = 7500 Sunny = 10000 It then adjusts them on a factor 1 hour before sunrise or 1 hour aftersumset Night = 10. With it having hard coded values like that, it is t very reliable

I use it to turn on some lights when it's cloudy. It's a fussy arrangement.

Like others have said, yes, but it ain't pretty if you want more then say two levels. Have mine set to full brightness or 30% based on the weather tile.

Mine is set to trigger evening lighting when it starts to shade after 2pm. I wouldn't set it to constantly change levels, but do use it to set the level when the light is turned on in a couple of cases.

I haven’t tried it but would think you could use some math in WebCore without using multiple ranges. Like set two values to be the 1% and 100% lux. Then use the math to calculate where the current lux falls in that range. Then subtract to get your light setting. Example if the lux is at 20%, then 100-20 would be 60% to set the light at. Of course change those numbers to meet your desired brightness. Just a thought.
