Anyone else ST hub being abit iffy recently? I have had ST since V3 hub release and never a single issue. This past week ive had it dropping sensors, becoming completey un-responsive , app crashes , and google assistant "cant conatct smartthings right now" when trying to run my usual scenes, sometime google will complain about an error but ST would still issue the commands succesfully. Sometimes it wont do anything (and i have to use the switch to turn light off ) I am in the process of learning HA (maybe it feels betrayed ) to bring everything local, but i wanted to keep the ST for my Z-Wave, atleast for now.

Thw last two weeks have been. Flakey. And then some users - particularly those with Fibaro multi switches have issues with the new 30. x firmware (that issue has been identified and a fix os pending) Flakey includes WebCoRE, because its just running innyour hub/tenant as a smartapp. So when the hub is flakey so is WebCoRE.

@anatolia7046 agreed. Though think of how many more people have been home lately using their hubs more frequently. Might be an explanation to the issue. Then again could just be stability issues caused by updates they have been doing

@optative7488 maybe, but unlike Netflix or YouTube, HA traffic shouldn't notably change depending on occupancy. Your hub transmits status and accepts commabds all day long while you were away. The difference is more likely more people at home finishing up thier projects or 'getting around to it' I just finished upgrading my security system yesterday in fact. That is going to introduce significant automation changes for me. I do think capacity is part of it but I thinknits permanent capacity not burst capacity. Therefore Samsung needs to adjust to accommodate it. Which is, coincidentally what thier new platform paradigm does - pushes the complex processing off thier cloud and instead to the hubs and other external clouds.

@anatolia7046 I agree with what you're saying. Though if I were to continuously flip a light switch on and off there would have to be more communication between hub and cloud compared to if I wasn't touching the light switch at all. Though I agree personal changes are probably the biggest issue too. I have added 5 or so devices since quarantine and have a couple more coming today. I as well got TTS setup on my Google homes, which I still need to actually integrate haha. Though it added roughly 15 devices to smartthings that weren't there before

@optative7488 yep exactly. My security system is going to add 15 devices. IF WE ALL add 15 devices.

@anatolia7046 yep, this is probably the biggest issue. Also when I was messing around with custom device handlers (writing one and testing changes more specifically) I noticed most of my issues there. I noticed some other items acting weird, though it could have just been the hub trying to keep up with my changes and updates to the said handler

Not really. Just moved over 2 aeotec switches over to it 50 feet away to get them off my wink hub. I was impressed that it was able to exclude and include without a hassle.

Mines been a little weird, but not as bad as you are saying. I was also seeing issues with webcore, which I noticed other users were as well

@optative7488 most of my automations are actually through webcore so that side of things i guess cpuld be that. I havent done to much diagnosing as like i say i am playing with home assistant at the minute . Just its been flawless till the past week

@pachton8 Yeah its probably something to do with the updates they have been pushing out. Maybe something in the update broke something and it is now causing issues
