I'm sure I'm missing something simple. However, within, SmartThings itself, can you automatically have a switch you turn on, turn off after a certain amount of time? So, if I turn on a light switch, it will auto turn off 3 hours later every time? (I know I can schedule a timer manually, but is there a way to automatically do it? )
I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

@hague I don’t think you can use the same device to trigger and be controlled by the automation.

@dye they are actually fixing that, I know yiu can with LocationMode as of the latest app updates. But whaf @hague is talking about is actually in the Smartlighting smartapp, a function called Power Allowance.

I can not find these options for a switch, how did you get there?

When I click on the device in the “Then” section, there’s an option to enable the auto off feature.

Thanks all. I found the automations, now I'll see if I can get it to work out. I have "If (on)" Then "Off (4 hours after)" That should work I think.

If this doesn't work for you webcore is phenomenal for this stuff. Look it up on YouTube etc. Super simple and SO powerful. Multiple ifs and so much more.
