Has anyone been to Palermo in sicily? I'm thinking of booking in May because I've found cheap flights. Is it worth a Weekend visit? I like history, art and good wine in a break. I like places that don't have hectic night life too. Google isn't giving me enough info! Thanks

Been there, lovely, but would not go at the moment, flights being cancelled

May be worth avoiding booking anything in the Italian region right now as I think lots of flights getting cancelled, massive areas closed down, etc?

Virus highest in Europe at min, i would not risk going to Italy at mo.

It's a crazy city. Fair amount of it is crumbling but the food and markets are great and the coastal areas around about beautiful.
