Currently on hold to Tui. 45 minutes and counting! Anyone had any joy speaking to them in order to change credit note for cash refund?

I waited two hours finally got through and was very easy to process a cash refund! Hang on in there!

Yes was a 30 minute wait and refund was given and an email sent to confirm.

Managed to get through to them today. Was on hold for nearly 2 hours but once they answered they were really helpful and processed the refund whilst on the phone. X

@spermophile40941 I was on hold ultimately for an hour and 45 mins but once through to them it was so simple provided they can pay it back to your original payment method x

@participate brilliant thank you. i’m due to fly 26th of July but i’m guessing it will be cancelled so i’m wanting my cash back. did they state how long it would take to be refunded back to you account ? X

@spermophile40941 if they haven’t yet cancelled it and said they are issuing the credit note I don’t think you can request a refund yet can you?

@spermophile40941 ok just checking as whether it’s 5-7 days now won’t mean it’s same so far down line. Glad u know though. Wouldn’t want anyone ringing and being on hold for no reason

Are people waiting til they have passed they departure date before you call as im not meant to fly till early june. Would you reccomended still calling them as whe ive recently tried i cant get through!

@bromide you have to wait until you receive your credit note. This can take up to 4 weeks after your departure date. I was due to travel may 10th received my credit note yesterday and called for refund today x

I’ve tried how many times for my refund. Thought I had finally got somewhere when someone said to ensure I’m the right person can I e mail them. I explained not once but twice what I wanted. Each time a different person answered my query, so I had 4 different people message me back. I was nice and polite and still asked for a refund, low and behold the messages stopped. I am so disappointed

I was due to go on a package holiday on the 31 st May. They still haven’t even sent me a credit refund number either. After they e mailed me to say I would get it 28 days before my holiday. Could anyone please give me an idea how to get in touch with them please.

The guidance now is 4 weeks after your departure date. I was due to travel on the 10th and received mine yesterday x

@participate I was due to go away in 17 days. I’ve just been on hold with them for over 30 minutes, listening to their automated April, when all of a sudden the line goes dead.

Have you received your refund credit note email? They won't do Nuthing without that. mine came in a few days after I was due to depart

All I’ve heard is them talking via an automated system. Then I get through after now 3 times and then them telling me to call back. I’ve been in touch via e mail with conversations going back and forth, each time I have again asked for a refund they then again don’t reply back.

We're still waiting on ours from VillPlus, holiday was 31/3/20, they were quick to say we would get a refund, not so quick giving it, they are blaming Jet2 ‍♀️

A friend of mine has. Took 2 days and about 40 attempts to get through but refund is being processed so it’s worth the perseverance!

I e mailed them several times until they answered. After lots of texts explaining they cancelled my tui holiday not me. After a couple of days I only received £405 they said the other £900 plus had to go to the finance team for them to ok the rest of my refund. Has anyone else had this problem. It’s been a week now. I have text them a couple of times for them to tell me it’s still with the finance team.

I rang them today on the off chance, expecting to be on hold for hours. I was on hold for half an hour. The woman i spoke with was really pleasant and helpful and said ill receive my full cash refund within 4 weeks max.
