Question for those on blue. I’ve noticed that a lot of photos of dinner plates are void of a carb, yet breakfasts and lunches typically have them. Is this a recommendation of the plan, or is this just how people are budgeting their points?

According to A@perviousA our plates should have at least 30 grams of carbs not simple carbs but the complex ones whole grains, brown rice beans etc but it all fits in the WW lifestyle. just my thoughts for a healthy person especially a diabetic. Check out the importance of those carbs and incorporate them . they help with keeping hunger at bay

WW is geared to steer us to make healthier/ smarter choices. I eat a zero breakfast- egg, mixed veggies, protein, hot tea. Lunch- protein, fruit, pickle, cheese stick, and chips (5 points) @

I personally just budget my points for what I want. I tend to do low carb, but it’s just a personal preference.

Thanks Everyone, I just learnt last week that banana in a smoothie is 4 pts. So I was afraid I may have missed something else.

It’s just a coincidence, I suspect. I have not heard of a recommendation or rule from the plan.

Well I am blue and I do try to limit the carbs. 1) they are higher in points 2) less carbs, less hungry and 3) seemed to just work.

I am lifetime and blue. Over time I’m come to do any bread/cracker carbs at breakfast or lunch ( I gave up pasta and rice along as well as just don’t care for then). Seems to work much better for the waistline. I maintain lifetime, yet my waist got smaller with no white carb at dinner

I still will have them. But very few. I notice my body does not react well to carbs. Or they are a trigger food to me.
