Thoughts: been on this plateau(ish) ride about 2 years. Was on freestyle and nursing. Quit both and rejoined in September on green. Had a 3 lbs loss and stopped. And a few weeks ago switched to blue. Not a lot of movement either. Am I missing something? (I exercise 5x a week and I'm 4. 75" smaller all over. I track everything, even if I go over. I use all weekly and Fit points. I don't drink enough water. I'm 36, 5'4, 200ish lbs and had two children so I'm not unrealistic in what's happening)

Unless you’re a heavy marathon runner, or have crazy HIIT workouts, don’t use fit points. That’s what our WW coach told us.

@defeasance I did not know this! Dang, could have been skinny by now

I’m with @defeasance. Use your weeklies but not your fit points!

@remanent I’ve been doing it with WW since 1/7 and have lost than I have before with WW.

@lepidopterous2 IF definitely got me out of a yr plateau. @remanent it may be worth a shot.

I do it when I didn't lose for a week and it jump-starts me

@lepidopterous2 started today and I survived the morning without killing anyone

The suggestion NOT to use fit points seems to be a newer part of the program. Although I'm not in meetings but online at this point, since I left the job where we had meetings, so I don't hear a lot of discussion, I would have to think fit points are more to track exercise to make sure people are trying to get a fair amount in, rather than using them as a cushion to be able to eat more. I'm presuming that when they re-calculated points values based on the three color platforms, there is already so much flexibility in choice for dailies and there are lots of weeklies, so I'd have to believe that fit points are more as an incentive to track exercise/activity, which we all need to stay healthy at any weight.

@numskull I think I've been in maintenance mode since I'm swinging between 200-203 lbs for over a year.

Are you eating zero point foods? Using portion control? Maybe not eat your weekly's and do more zero points? Just some suggestions.

@frightfully8 0 points foods like fruit and veggies all dang day. I do watch portions, not super strictly though

@remanent Sometimes you just need to shake up your whole eating plan and do different foods :)

Maybe not eat your fit points? Or use either fit points or weeklies. Not both. It's worth a try

I will not lose if I use my weeklies or fit points. ‍♀️

I don’t use my weekly or fit points. That’s what works for me. I just pretend they are not there.

Same here. I had been gaining and losing the same 1 or 2 pounds for a year or so. My trainer recommended doing intermittent fasting and finally starting to see small movements on the scale. I usually do it 4-5 days a week. Maybe try cutting back on fit/weekly points. If I use them I absolutely will not lose. Hang tough it’ll pay off in the end

You need to drink water. I work out with weights three days a week and cardio three days a week I do not use any of my FitPoints or weekly points. On green down 11 lbs
