I am just starting WW and it has me on green but I have a lot of weight to loose. Should I change to blue?

You are on green and want to change to green? All colors work, you just have to find the one that you will be able to stick to long term.

All three plans are designed for weight loss. I don’t think one versus the other are designed to help you lose more weight or faster

If you eat out a lot I would do green & when you get packing your own meals go to blue or purple. I love purple. I make all my foods.

@maite purple plan has 300 free food it’s easier to make a lot of different foods & never feel like your dieting. I lose 1-2. 4lbs a week

You can loose on all 3 plans. Green is based on your taste and food favorites. Some people like sweet over salty food.

Don’t stress over . They are all designed for loss. - no matter how much you have to lose. The plan choice really isn’t about food - you can eat anything on all plans in balance. The choice of plan is about Mindset. The one that fits your lifestyle is the right choice. That’s the one you will stick with and see long term results  Has the most daily points but fewer zero point foods  7 fewer dailies than Green but lean proteins (chicken/turkey breast, eggs, fish, beans, nonfat plain yogurt) and corn & peas are all zero points  7 fewer dailies than Blue but potatoes and some whole grain foods are zero points Fruits and non starchy vegetables are zero points on all planes

@ansermet Been on WW a long time. When they launched , I did a little experiment and logged what I ate the previous week against each plan. The results were all similar

@judy good. My problem is I dont stick with it. In 3 week to i month i will quit if i make it that long ugg. I hate to go into summer again being this weight

@ansermet I have difficulty sticking with prigrams too. But this is a lifestyle change not just a diet. You can still eats most foods that you love but just smaller amounts. You watch your points and encorporate them in your daily life. It does take a little time to get used to it but not long. Don't think 3 weeks from now think about today and this week. If I can do it you can too! Good luck and keep me posted on your journey.

I started years ago on green and lost weight. I am at LT. Never lost on blue as I ate too many zero foods without portion control. I switched to green two weeks ago and lost weight. I need to count everything I put in my mouth. I need to portion out fruits and veggies. I only eat one banana daily

I think green is a great place to start! U can get into good habits with tracking/measurement etc. I started WW when it was smart points aka green plan. at least give it to weeks before changing. I did not like Freestyle aka Blue at first but then I got used to it. So when WW changed to the color plans I stayed with blue. And it worked. I just changed to purple Saturday. I wanted to eat more oatmeal for free. I am not sure how I will do but I will give it at least two weeks. I think all 3 will work. Sorry for the long response . my vote is to start with Green. Hope it helps.

All WW programs WORK as long as you follow WW guidelines and remain persistent and consistent. I reached goal on WW's Fat and Fiber program in 1994. 26 years later still keeping 50 lbs off. WW is for life. ⚘ If the assessment chose green, stay with green for 2 weeks before changing. One plan isn't better than the other. It's all about which plan is best for you. Good luck!

Stick with green. I have 66 lbs to loose. First month lost 14. February lost 1. 5 lbs so far. You got this girl! I would stick with green. I was going to switch to blue but if it works keep what you are doing. That's what I was told.
