Where do you find fat free(? ) ground chicken? I’ve seen the Thanksson brand but that scans at 2 points I believe. I am located in Michigan and is close to Meijer and Kroger. I’m not a Walmart shopper but if I absolutely have to I will!
Where do you find fat free(?) ground chicken?

If it is a zero point food don’t scan it. The barcode scanner only reads the nutrition facts. It doesn’t know what food it is. It is just doing a calculation.

@okwu that’s not always true. Some ground turkey chicken has a mixture, that is why it’s not scanning at zero.

@septemberseptembris granted but then it wouldn’t qualify under WW’s definition of a zero point food.

@okwu hence the reason why some scan with points lol

@okwu ground chicken isn’t always ground chicken breast therefore it wouldn’t be a 0 sp food. Chicken thighs are not 0 sp!

It has to say ground chicken breast. I have only ever gotten it at my grocery store. I would say ask the meat dept if they have it. As long as it’s just chx breast it’s 0

@sumba113 gotcha! Maybe I’ll go to the meat dept or an actual meat store. I don’t ever recall seeing ground chicken breast.

I asked the meat department in Festival to grind up a couple of fresh breasts for me.

It'll never be 100% FF, but breast meat is the lowest fat. Turkey is the same.

Look for the keyword “breast”! Ground chicken breast, ground turkey breast = 0pts! Almost all grocery stores have it but if you absolutely can’t find it and they have a meat counter ask them to ground it for you! Or you can do it yourself but that sounds like a mess! Lol!

My local butcher grounds chicken breasts for us. I just call them ahead of time and tell them what I want. They will even add “pork sausage and Italian sausage seasoning to it , if I ask. They freeze the chicken a bit, first, so that it doesn’t stick to their grinder! ‍♀️

99% fat free is free correct? Not 93%?

I buy boneless skinless chicken breasts and use my Ninja to grind it myself. Much cheaper and easy to do.
