I'm doing the old flex points plan. It worked for me in the past. I get 30 points a day and 35 flex points. It's going a little slow and I'm losing motivation. I'm considering doing the new system. A lot of the zero point foods on purple are what I eat most of the time. I understand that you aren't supposed to go wild with them, but what is acceptable? For example I usually eat 2 to 3 pieces of fruit a day, which I now count as 1 point each. Would all 3 be zero on a new plan? If I eat zero point foods like potatoes, beans, corn, brown rice or chic pea pasta can I eat 2 servings for zero or do I need to count over 1 serving? I get that I shouldn't eat 10 bananas or a pound of pasta.

Fruit is zero on purple. Start with one serving of starches and fill in with raw veggies, a salad and zero foods. If you NEED more later you can go back. Potatoes, spaghetti, pasta and rice I would be more careful with.

When you say you're doing the old flex points program, are you actually using old program materials or are you doing green, the current equivalent?
