When people say it feels great when they sweat like no other, feels like you want to puke, your muscles burn like they're about fall off, and you can barely move when your done, does it really feel great physically or is it a mind thing that you feel like you have burned the calories and building muscle to get to your goal? Cause me personally I'm not feeling great. I feel good mentally that I was active. Didnt know if I was missing something

It shouldn't hurt to exercise. You should be able to hold a conversation without gasping. Sweat feels good to me. kind of cleansing. Slow down a little and work up to longer periods of time and higher intensity. NEVER stop suddenly if your heart rate is up. bring your level down incrementally until you can stop.

They lie! I can’t rest unless I have 15, 000 steps, force myself to do 10flights of steps a day & it’s so I don’t feel guilty about having a beer or 2. not because it feels good!

I'm 63 years old and I've had a few years to try to get this "euphoric high" from working out. never noticed it.  I have a pretty active job ( nursing), and while I love to walk and bike, I have discovered I will not stay with a program that has strict workout requirements. I have lost 23 pounds since Thanksgiving, so I'm sure my lack of daily workout slows that down, but allowing myself to consider my nursing shifts my workout has kept me on the program. Other nurses will get this
