Green has really helped me. Bc you’re supposed to eat your points and i need that structure. Since i have issues with over eating/ and then eating enough.

I like green for the fact that you get more points to eat whatever you want, rather than eating chicken breast, eggs, and Greek yogurt. I get sick of eating those all the time!

I need the accountability of green. I wouldn’t do as well with so many zero point foods. I need to count everything.

@beggary I thought green had the most zero points?
by (740 points)
@radburn3433 No on the green only fruits and veggies are 0 points

I needed the accountability of green with the emphasis on portion sizes. More points gives you many options and a variety to choose from and as you are loosing you’re points adjust.

I prefer green for the accountability, as only fruits and veggies are zero.

They are basically the same thing. You get more pts on green, but you just use them on the zero pt foods you get on blue. It's a trade off.

Do I personally have done both and love blue! Tracking gets old after you have done it for so long and I love the freedom of not having to track certain things (Greek yogurt, beans, eggs, chicken) and just not having to worry about it. and I don’t ever over do it on 0 sp items so blue works for me. I limit myself to a certain amount per day. I do post all my meal ideas and inspiration for blue  on my IG page if your interested in following along with my journey. @depilatory consider purple if you haven’t already done so. I find that plan working well for me.

@krishnakrishnah1095 I do not trust myself with 0 sp pasta and potatoes lol

I have done both and I personally would prefer blue. I feel like I have more freedom with my choices and not as restricted. Plus, I dont count zero point foods and on green I had to count basically everything and it was exhausting and hard to keep track of. I dont feel as deprived on blue like I did with green. You can always try them both out but to remember to give each plan minimum two weeks to try, you should know by then on which really works for you.

Try taking the quiz to see which suits you best. I used to do smart points and was very successful so I went back to green which is most like that system.

You need to find the color that is suited best for you and then all is well! Don’t pick one just because others are having success with it.

If you fill out you profile and do the questionnaire when joining, the program considered best for your lifestyle will be recommended. For ME, Green is too strict and Purple is too liberal.

I felt there were too many zero point things on blue. I’m on Green

I like blue. Want the zero point foods, like eggs, Turkey, chicken , etc. That I don't need to track. Plan my day around them, then just add low point foods to round it out. Lost 93 lbs on Free Style which is now blue. Under goal for over 2 years and lifetime.

As long as you can manage it well blue is very good. The zero point foods are a real plus. They make it easier

Or just google WW green blue purple plans, and you will find comparison lists on a number of sites. It helps to read a list of the features of each plan.

Ultimately you should be eating the same amount of food with all of the plans, the difference is in how much structure you need, and how much you want to put time/effort into tracking. The green plan is the most structured. You get more points but have to track more items. Blue has less points but more free foods. If looking at the free foods list for the blue plan you feel like you will be able to eat from these and stay within serving sizes or not overindulge on these, then the blue plan is a good fit and you have less tracking to do. If you feel like you need structure and to be accountable for every food even those on the free food blue list, then pick green. You can switch at any time if you find you are struggling. Good Luck!

Green gives you more points and less 0 point foods while blue is the opposite. If the bulk of the foods you want are not on any of the 0 lists gree would give you more points to use on other items. Blue has the benefit of eggs, most vegetables and turkey/chicken breast being 0 points while green only has the fruit. I have lost 30 lbs on blue some people find blue to have too much freedom with 0 point foods.

If you don't have portion control problems or problems with snacking, then blue is good. Otherwise green is the one.

I switched back to green, I was not doing well on blue. I need to be accountable for everything I eat. So I don't get as many zero point foods, but it's what works better for me.
