I love the green plan. You have to be committed to tracking everything. I personally love the accountability. I started January 15 and have consistently lost weight every week.

I’m on purple  It doesn’t matter what plan but any exercise you can do really helps to burn the calories, track your food. Good luck

Ive tried them all out and they all have benefits. I think if you’re dedicated to weighing measuring and tracking than green sounds right to you.

I am having a terrible time on blue! I lost 15 lbs and now have been stuck for 3 weeks regardless of staying within my points.

I was on purple, but I wasn't accountable for enough. I switched to blue and have no zero foods (except fruits/veggies) and it's so much better for my psyche. Losing now. I just know for myself, I cannot have zero point foods.

Green works! You have to be disciplined in tracking

Green works for me. over the years, WW measuring, weighing and tracking feels so automatic to me. Everything and every quantity has fat, carb and protein calories and if one maybe overeating without even realizing, weight will be slower to come off.

I love green! I have been on green since February 22nd and I’ve lost a total of 30 pounds. Of course everyone is different, but the green works great for me.

Depends on what your issue is. if yours is portion control, green will work best because you have very few free foods. you will have to stick to proper portions to lose, but you have the freedom to choose the foods you want to use your points on. I tried blue and hated it. I have been doing green and I am down 30 pounds once mid January. not as fast as others, but I am happy!

I’m on green. To be successful I believe you have to measure and weigh everything. Green is more accountable. I usually lose about a pound a week. Sometimes more. Down 42 lbs so far. Started in December.

You could try a switch to green. The thing with blue is that there are more zero point foods. It’s easier to use your points on junk. I would look at what you’re using your points for if you’re not losing. Eg. 10 points spent on a hearty beef dish is going to be a different 10 points then those spent on a bowl of chips. I know for me I was eventually able to find a bunch of carb-filled snacks that were less points and I would just crave them and spend most of my points on them. My cleverness was to my own detriment LOL I ended up not losing as much. I had to go back and re-evaluate what I was spending my points on.

I think they all work, you just have to find the plan that works for you and the daily points you want to have to eat, and work on portion control. They all scientifically work, just decide which more types of free foods and how many you want. Just remember that the free foods have calories. Portion control.

I agree. portion control in whichever group you’re in. I have been lifetime for 20 years and GREEN has been working wonderfully for me!

I switched from blue to green this past week, and went from “no progress” to -2. 6. I was overdoing zero point foods, and green gives me the discipline I need!

@sholem79 I think I need discipline.
by (2k points)
@sholem79 Thank you it’s exactly what I need. With the green plan does protein have Points?

@sholem79 yes

@wisconsin7783 Yes, so do beans, corn, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal — but you also get more dailies. I went from 23 on blue to 30 on green.

Green! I was eating too many 0 point foods which are still calories. Green makes you count everything. Don’t let the extra daily points fool you! You will need them!

Green definitely keeps me more accountable and accurate. I measure everything now. I'm shocked at how many extras I was adding in every day b/c it was zero.

I like green because it makes me more accountable. The "free" foods still have calories and having too many will stop or stall your progress. Just my opinion, of course! Everyone has different needs and WW has a variety of plans to meet those needs!

I am doing green only because it is like smartpoints from 1-2 years ago and its what I'm use to. I lost 40 pounds 2 years ago on smartpoints. It works for me because I get more points a day.

Im 4 wks in on green. 10 lbs down. I think  holds more accountability. Zero points is not zero calories. I do watch my carbs. that's just me. I do better and feel so much better when I keep carbs to around 50 grams per day.

I don’t like that I wasn’t given a choice. I was assigned a plan. How do you see how other plans work?
by (6.7k points)
@rheumy you can change your plan by going into settings and pick food and change it. Try for at least 2 weeks
by (3.6k points)
@rheumy Nobody should assign you a plan. Maybe your leader suggested a plan that she thought would work best for you. You can always switch once you give it a chance. Good luck!

@lamb - wow, can you please share some tips as how you lost? I am on green for two months now and not doing that great. Thanks
by (5.6k points)
@orelu I just try to stay in my points range, drink lots of water, and exercise.
by (1.3k points)
@lamb - thank you. Do you use all your daily points ?
by (5.6k points)
I also make a menu for two weeks at a time and buy what I need for that. If I buy junk food for other members of the house, I hide it in my daughter’s playhouse and they go out there to eat it. “Outta sight, outta mind”
by (5.6k points)
@orelu I try to, but if I have a couple left over, I don’t sweat it. I eat when I feel hungry but try not to eat after 7 pm. I also use unsweetened almond milk with Hershey’s sugar free syrup for a 2 pt. snack/chocolate fix.
by (1.3k points)
@lamb - thanks for the tip on Hershey syrup. I will get it because I do crave for chocolates sometimes.
by (5.6k points)
@orelu I like mine really chocolatey so I use 8oz of milk and 2 oz of syrup. lol. That is why it is 2 pts.

For a different perspective, I'm planning to switch back to blue because I get more points on green (30) and I don't use them well. whereas with 23 pts on blue, I was eating more healthy because I didn't have as many points to spend. ‍♀️ I'm a snacker with no self control though, blue makes me have to cook my own food more often because I don't have the few extra points a day to be able to spend on takeout, etc
by (1.8k points)
@infeudation748 This is how I feel too. Went from blue to green and just switched back to blue as I was using the points on snacky stuff and not eating enough lean proteins and yogurt. I'm just being careful about portions of those items this time around.

I can not be trusted with zero point foods. I’ve been on green and it’s been working. You can always try green and after two weeks (they ask you give it two weeks) and go back if you don’t like it.
