How much zero point foor are you consuming? It’s easy to over eat on it. Maybe try switching to the green plan where you get a boost of points but have less zero pt foods and get an idea of how much you are consuming. I know on blue I think I might not have tracked as well.

@chou good luck

@overlong11 thanks so much! I’m going to get a scale and drink more water .  not giving up
by (13.9k points)
@chou you got this

Be sure to. limit fruits to 2-3 servings. If your foods had sodium, they may be contributing since that makes you retain water. 5 - 2 lbs per week is the weekly range you should expect. If you are very active be sure to use some. weeklies because you might not be taking in enough calories.

@overlong11 the rollover points are not due to the blue dot because you can get a blue dot due to being a certain amount over or under your dailies. The rollovers (extra weekly points) happen due to leftover dailies. You can get a range of 0-4 rollovers when you have the blue dot because the cap the # of daily rollovers at 4.

Portion control zero point foods. All portions are below the name ofthe food on your app. Example: egg 1.

Age! It’s not coming off as easily for me either. I’ve learned to be ok with a turtles pace as long as I’m going in the right direction. Also, losing slowly means we are teaching ourselves better eating habits which will, hopefully, result in better longterm success. Hang in there!
by (1.7k points)
@geognosy that is most definitely the first thought I had. I’m 43 so it always stinks after 40 lol
by (2.1k points)
@chou I’m just a few weeks from 50 and, oh boy, this is definitely more challenging! Onwards and ‘down’wards my friends
by (1.7k points)
@geognosy the struggle is real ❤️
by (13.9k points)
@geognosy age is just a number not a excuse. I’m 64 and doing just great. We are supposed to lose it slowly. People 50, 60, 70 and 80 are losing. It’s NOT a diet, it’s a lifestyle change. Good luck

@overlong11 ooookay! Thank you

@geognosy I know what you are saying!

This may have been posted but there was a whole group of people who were older who posted their successes, so even older people can have a great weight loss.
by (1.7k points)
@numskull oh I most definitely know people of every age bracket can lose weight but I think more so of what we were saying is it is by far harder as you get older. not impossible
by (2.1k points)
@numskull just want to clarify that I was in no way implying that older people can’t lose weight. If you read the comment you will see that. I’m saying it’s a little more difficult. Its simple science. Your metabolism slows down as you age. If we continue to eat the way we always did eat, we will gain weight. It takes being a little more mindful of our choices. Congratulations to everyone on your successes and good luck, young and old!

Pay attention to serving sizes, don’t just consume zero foods, drink lots of water. Don’t deprive yourself of the good stuff either. I found that when I was doing that, I had a tendency to overeat that stuff, such as cookies or something. I always saved enough points for an after dinner dessert like a sugar free skinny cow ice cream sandwich or something
by (1.7k points)
@cognize yesterday I had a banana for breakfast (0) plus (2) for coffee creamer. For lunch a cottage cheese cup (2pts) , WW chips (2) and some rotisserie chicken (0) Snack was good thins crackers (4) and laughing cow cheese (1) And dinner I had a pretty big bowl of stuffed pepper soup which was all zero plus a 1/2 cup rice which I believe was (4-5) Then I had a sugar free pudding cup for dessert (2) That is usually a typical day for me
by (1.7k points)
@cognize I think it might be the water consumption that I need to work on
by (1.7k points)
@cognize I’ve done weight watchers many times in the past and I’ve always lost sooo much in the beginning and then I started to plateau but this time it’s different and I feel like I am not losing so I’m losing the motivation. errr ! Lol
by (1.3k points)
@chou yeah try drinking water. I found after being on blue for about 5 months that I hit a plateau. I switched to purple and lost 4 more pounds. Maybe a different plan would work for you
by (1.4k points)
@chou I'm actually wondering if you aren't eating enough. You might input a few days of meals into another program and take a look at your calories and macros.
by (5k points)
You are so right some think because things are 0 Points you can eat alot you can't follow that portion size.
by (5k points)
Only thing 0 points I eat more of is veggies with my meals I am on Blue too.
by (11.7k points)
@chou I found that even if I ate the proper amount of points, the scale moved much better when I made sure to get some exercise in, with getting at least 20 minutes of walking three or more days a week and then beyond that as I had time.

Drink that water! and weigh and measure your food even zero point foods. you would be surprised how easy it is to go over a serving size. do you do any added exercise?
by (1.7k points)
@alleenallegation865 I don’t exercise right now. I wanted to get settled into the program with foods and making sure I meal plan etc before adding exercise.
by (11.4k points)
That's understandable, sometimes things are too much coming at you, to get your brain wrapped around it. but if you can start with even a little walk and work it up. you might be surprised how much it can boost your feeling of well being and jump start your weight loss journey. it's taken me my whole life so far, but i can honestly say i look forward to my exercising. yikes, can't believe i've even said that. good luck on your journey

What that is weird. I am doing Blue and lost in 2 weeks 4 lbs. Not much for exercising I have to have hip replacement surgery next month on the 25th. So exercises I could do now I can or afraid I will mess me up and I have 5 weeks until I get my surgery. Then I hope and pray I am good. Never thought that is what was causing my pain thought sciatica but didn't kind of feel like that felt more pain. Went to back doctor said it was my hip took X-Ray and sure enough bone on bone with two small cysts. Sorry got off the subject. Just don't give up. I am at my goal weight thru W. W. 's but not MY goal weight. I want to loose about 10 more lbs. I can tell by the way my clothes feel too I lost.
by (1.7k points)
@ketchum7 that’s awesome! Keep up progress and best of luck to you on your surgery ❤️

I can't have many fruits. Just too much sugar. I eat some bread every other morning and have last meal at 5. No snacking . I have 6 to 7 glasses of water . Eggs are great to make salad or omelette. Fish is another good option. I rather eat something good and spend my Smartpoints and make up the rest with Zeropoints. A piece of dark chocolate. I also have lost almost 10 pounds in 3 weeks but everybody is so different. I am finding it hard this time to lose. The saying nothing tastes as good as thin feels is true. Good luck ! You can do this :-)

Blue when it was freestyle didn't work for me. I am back to green which was beyond the scale. It was too easy for me to say oh it zero points. My husband & I used to split a chicken breast, then we just each had one. same with eggs. why use only the whites. the only zero on green are fruits & veggies(non carb) and i don't overeat that.

The Green plan is the closest to the old plan a few years ago
