Expand your definition of "treating oneself" beyond food. Massage or other spa appointments; long exercise sessions learning a new machine or taking a new fitness class (which your busy schedule at home probably doesn't allow you to do). Walk as much as possible in the open air. Don't think about "getting your money's worth" at buffets or the bar, etc. -- you'll pay to get that weight off later. I indulged in fine dining (but low calorie) options even though there was an extra charge. I paid for a soft drink/fizzy water "pass" but didn't indulge in liquor except for one glass of champagne I "calorie budgeted" for in advance.

We cruise all the time and you can loose weight. Don’t eat the desserts, the breads and the dinning room will cook your salmon and chicken without butter or sauces and will steam you some vegetables. We use the stairs a lot instead of elevator and walk on treadmill and around ship also use the gym. And we still have a great time

I maintained. Watched how much I ate, walked a lot on board ship, did not drink alcohol. I did drink diet soda, but also drank a lot of water.

Find breakfasts and lunches that track 2-3 points (find something on the buffet that fits that bill. eggs, omelette. and ask for very little oil. grilled chicken and salad. you can find the chicken at burger stations. so you can enjoy dinner, walk everyday, drink water, push the dinner bread basket towards your husband, taste desserts and limit alcohol to 2-3 drink s a day. Find the fruit and bring some to your cabin for a mid afternoon sweet treat. I also brought Mini Moos for my coffee. 0 points for 1, instead of the half and half. Just got back from a 14 day cruise and lost 1. 8!

I always maintain or even lose while enjoying everything the ship has to offer. We book a forward cabin so get in lots of steps. Enjoy!

I lost 4 lbs on a 14 day cruise. I stayed away from alcohol and drank a ton of water. Walked. Swam. Tried to make good choices for food. Not perfect but good.

Have been on many cruises, eat sensible, do not drink fruity drinks stick to wine, if you want a drink. I usually have a few glasses of wine an evening, one dessert, and no bread or butter with dinner. Usually gain a pound or two. Could leave out wine and dessert, but it is a vacation. I also always take the stairs, walk 30 min in the morning and 30 min in the evening, and dance instead of sitting in shows.

I went on my first cruise last summer which was really fun. I wasn't on WW yet. I gained 7 lbs even though I worked out. I just wasn't used to all the food they give you. If I went again I wouldn't go to so many multiple course dinners and skip every dessert.

Absolutely doable, with all the walking and good food choices. When we went on our cruise (gone for 19 days), I had drinks, but always skipped dessert at dinners. felt if I had the bread and wine, one of the vices had to go:) I think we all have that mindfulness, especially after being on the program for a little while, to make better choices. I know I’m more aware.

Don’t eat in the “food court”-too tempting. We always do the dining room.

I try to walk the stairs instead of taking the elevator, typically I only gain about a pound so it works for me. Also, a lot of walking in the town's we visit. I have also gone to the gym and done the bike. I don't even worry about what I eat. I don't stress about it. ENJOY!

I spoke to the waiter on the first night. You should have the same table nightly if you go to the sit down dinners. I had them prepare me the same dinner every night. Steamed veggies with either chicken breast or blackened salmon or available fish. I was determined and not about to eat the sauces and elaborate meals. I used my calories/points in alcohol and didn’t gain.

I did not go crazy, but I did not count either, I went up 5lbs and I was down those pounds and another one by the time I weighed in 4 days later. It was mostly water. I was super strict when I got home. On the cruise, there are eggs, lots fo fruits and veggies and in the dinning room you can take items on the menu and have them as you wish. so there were veggie appetizers and I ordered 2 of them for my meal with a side of grilled chicken. Fill up on the 0 point foods, but enjoy the treats.

I just returned from a 12 day cruise and lost 2 pounds. I found it easier to eat at buffet since everything is in stations. I walked right past breads and deserts. Usually got a large salad then selected the meat or fish being offered that night. Stay active. Doesn’t mean I didn’t have any carbs or deserts just minimal. Even had a few drinks. Breakfast I had poached eggs and Canadian bacon.
