Hi!  I’ve been on the blue plan since January 13 2020 and have lost 22 pounds.Hi! I’ve been on the blue plan since January 13 2020 and have lost 22 pounds. However, for the past 2 weeks I haven’t been losing, just maintaining. I know maintaining is better than gaining but I feel discouraged because my hard work feels like it’s for nothing. I stick to my daily points and don’t use my weeklies. Any thoughts or suggestions?

22 pounds in three weeks!? That's amazing ! Give your body a chance to adjust. 2 pounds per week is the high end of healthy loss range. Keep up the good work and be patient

You can lose fat and not see the scale move. Mix things up! Up your protein! Get in some good fats! Stay hydrated! Switch up your activity! Switch up foods. If it doesnt move in a week, maybe switch to green and see if it gets things moving again.

Your body is probably just adjusting. 22 lbs in a total of 5. 5 weeks is a lot and since it really was 22 lbs in 3 weeks, your body is like "whoa" and holding onto it. Eating more calories can break a plateau though.

Do you have a desire to be healthier, as well as losing weight? If so, your hard work is very important, not for nothing

Maybe try eating your big meal midday. Then a lighter dinner. Hang in there.

First off you have been doing a hell of a job for just a month! 22lbs! You are a rock star! 2nd I have been in your shoes. You have hit a plateau. Do not give up. Keep going every day. Yes you will hit this more than one time in your weight loss journey. Sometimes eating more in your day helps. Others is cutting back on natural sugars. So if you are eating a lot of fruit. Cut back on them. Even though they are fruit and zero they still have sugar. Especially grapes! Tricking your body might help. Remember its not a sprint it's a marathon! Good job! Keep it up

Have you relaxed with your weighing food or tracking. That’s the 1st thing I always look at. Just when I think I can eyeball everything I realize my idea of a portion is what got me in trouble in the 1st place

Sometimes your body goes into starvation mode and hold on to fat. Try dipping into weeklies. That may be what you need to keep going. 22lbs in a month is a lot.

Happened to me. I kept doing everything, tracking & exercising. One day I just started losing again. It was at least a month before the weight started coming off again. It’s discouraging but keep going.

If you gained 22 lbs in 5 weeks would you not think, damn I gained A LOT OF WEIGHT in a very short time?

It’s only been 2 weeks. I’d review exactly what your doing. If you’re slacking on tracking work on that. If you’ve cut back on your water increase that. If you stopped weighing and measuring start again. You can do this!

Sometimes your body's system needs time to catch up. I have times when i stay the same than all of a sudden i have a large loss. Hang in there. And most of all don't quit! We can do this!

I give it 3 weeks before making a change. Homeostasis is real. This happens to me about every 20 lb down. But we are all different. I combine low carb and IF

Your down 22 lbs. look at how much you have lost. I have been on since 1-2-2020, and down 14. 2. Look at the big picture.

Have a cheat meal- that’s what I did and then back on. A cheat meal is good as it satisfies you and that’s what weeklies are for!
