I started January 2nd and I’m down 10lbs. I’ve struggled with my weight since I had my first child. I’m feeling so good, less bloated and I feel slimmer. It gets easier the longer you do it. I don’t really crave sweets anymore and I have eliminated dairy

@intermission there are over the counter pills for lactose intolerance, they work.

@vulture lol it’s a personal choice! I’ve been trying to get rid of any “allergy foods” to see how it affects my body. As everyone is different!

Also I have young kids so all we have in the house is high fat milk! And all the cheeses we have around here are high in points

I made lifetime in 1982. I’ve lost it got it back several times. I’m currently working to get it back. I believe WW is still the best weight loss program. I’m the one who is responsible for the bad food choices I’ve made over the years.

I had lost 25. 5 lbs for my son’s 8th grade promotion 2 years ago. This was March-May. I completely fell off the wagon last summer. I am pretty much starting over for my daughter’s 8th grade promotion this May. this time I have my husband on board and starting in January for an even GREATER LOSS! Plus I turned 40 and I want to be happy with myself again!

This is my goal - in the 140’s in 2013. I exercised A LOT to get my last baby’s weight off before a Cancun trip.

Are you a WW member? Is so, the app is a great source of motivation if you go to “connect” and read some of the member’s stories

Started in May of 2018 and lost 80 lbs as of July 2019 and been lifetime since August. On lifetime I eat about 27 points a day before I had 23 and 23 weeklys and most weeks I used at least half of them . In the beginning all I did was walk but as the weight came off I started the gym 3 times a week.

Down 94 pounds. 2 pounds from Wonderland. Slow and steady. When I plateau, I go on maintenance until I am ready to push through. Adding intermittent fasting and do no white carbs.

Here’s your motivation. it’s all in YOUR head! You are the one who controls this. You must get to the point where you want the weight loss and the healthier YOU more than you want that piece of cake. it isn’t always easy, but it’s the truth. Not trying to be mean. best of luck to you.

@byrnes so right. It is all how we talk to ourselves. All in the head. We need to change the we think. We don’t need bad foods as a success or when sad or stressed. We need to remember how far we have come and turn our thoughts around.

In aug 2018 I started and By May 2019 I lost 18. My friend lost 30. BUT, in sept that year I stopped and gained 16 back. I ate whatever I wanted, I went overboard. Started again in January 2010 and it is coming off again. Only 1 lb from being back at lifetime and free! This works! You need to do the plan and stay on it. It is a lifetime change not a temporary fix. You can do this. I feel so much better when eating healthy. Good luck. You got this.

Lost 9# in a month. I exercise 5 x per week. Silver sneakers and water aerobics. I track everyday. It’s the only way I can lose. No alcohol January has helped. And I fast at least 12 hr daily, I try to go for 16 hours. I eat last meal by 6 pm and bkft between 9 & 10 am. I think that fasting trick really works. Dr Oz recommends it.

I do not fast, exercise is an afterthought, although I am now the proud owner of a Fitbit and I am determined to use it. I am 79, 1 month away from 80. I have lost on the blue but not nearly as mush as the purple. I feel now more like a life style than a diet. took me a year to gain that insight. I have 20 more pounds to go according to my MD, but I think I can persuade him to 10. he is a little skinny guy. I feel so much better, off my BP meds. you can do it, but make it your journey, not someone else's
