Since starting WW over two years ago (after having a heart attack and two stents implanted), I eat upwards of two dozen eggs per week, with my cardiologist’s approval, and each blood test has shown a decrease in my cholesterol (it has been in a good range the last three tests).

Agree, my Drs say the same thing, the egg cholesterol theory has been disproven a long time ago. Mine continues to decrease also.

@flatulent79 yeah egg cholesterol is totally different from other cholesterol that can be bad for you. They are my absolute favourite. You should try them in different ways. Search Pinterest for ideas.

One dozen eggs in one day seems excessive. I think it would be healthier to use a variety of protein!

The eggs cholesterol being bad for you was debunked years ago. As long as you have your drs ok. Get yearly checkups etc, eat as much eggs as you want. I go thru a dozen a week easily. I've lost weight and my levels have been great. Instead of ketchup, try mild salsa, a healthier option to ketchup

Wow you need to eat food you need some healthy fats . By eating zero pts it's no going to help you way to many eats. one girl in the meeting told the leader she eats 3 eggs in the morning and the leader told her you can't be eating that many eggs if she was eating 3 a day I can't imagine what she would about how many you eat

We didn’t get fat on ketchup! I blend salsa up in my Vita Mix and use that instead of ketchup. When I eat eggs, which I Love, I eat three whites to each yolk, usually. Three HB eggs, a bag of microwaved spinach or broccoli, homemade Honey Crisp applesauce for a meal . . Yummy!

Lol. So. You ate 12 eggs, Better than 12 donuts. You just need to find your balance. If you look at your chart above when you eat the correct amount of points/foods you blue dot covers your day. Like Saturday on your post. It’s showing complete. That’s the program. It was only one day you said. No biggie. Sometimes I eat more pizza then I’m suppose to in one day. WW to me is about finding Your balance and enjoying all foods in moderation.

Maybe switch to green and then it would add up as points.

Cons-zero points does not mean zero calories. We are still supposed to be mindful of portion sizes. The same thing will happen if you eat a bunch of bananas everyday or a boatload of fish or a basket full of carrots. You can't just eat with reckless abandon. That being said 4 eggs for 1 meal is way too much, let alone 3 meals. Cut it down to 2 eggs in the morning and find something else for lunch and dinner. Or find something else for breakfast and have your 2 eggs later in the day. It doesnt matter when. I myself love eggs but I am on WW to lose weight and get healthy, so I mind my portions, that's why I am here. You won't get healthy only eating eggs. Different foods for different nutrients. Bulk up your eggs with vegetables. Eating eggs all day everyday is a good way to make you hate eggs. I have a breakfast that I truly love. I keep it in my tracker as Everyday Breakfast YUM! In a small pan put a glug of olive oil. Throw in a fist full of chopped onions, a fistful of chopped bell pepper, Himalayan pink salt, McCormick's basil sprinkle, fresh ground pepper, sometimes trader Joe's umami mushroom sprinkle. Then I crack in 2 eggs and making sure all the eggs are covered. Then I put a lid on it for 1-2 minutes to let it set. Then I flip it over and on one side I put on a chopped up wedge of laughing cloud cheese. Then fold the other half over the cheese half. Laughing cow has a bunch of flavors so it can be a different omelet every day. If you only use teaspoon of oil the whole this is 2 points. But today we changed things up. Before we put the eggs in we whisked the eggs with avocado mash and then poured it over the vegetables. The rest of the process is the same cover, flip, cheese, and fold. The avocado mash adds 3 more points bring it to 5 points. It is very filling and very healthy for you. Sometimes you need a little more oil so a quick spritz with a sprayer does the trick. I meal prep 3 things and the rest I keep as staples. Meal prep A big bin of raw chopped bell peppers A big bin of raw chopped onions A big bin of cooked cubed chicken breast. STAPLES Eggs, laughing cow triangle cheese, shrimp, rao's marinara, beans, tuna, chicken stock, seasonal fruits and veggies, ff Greek yogurt, tzatziki sauce, Joseph's whole wheat, oatbran and flax pita, trader joe's lite Mexican cheese and lite mozzarella cheese, pasta and farro. For a quick lunch I make tzatziki chicken after it is prepped it literally takes 1 minute to prepare. Tzatziki chicken 1 fistful raw onion, 1 fistful raw pepper, 4 ounces of chicken. You can add tomato or cucumber if you have them on hand. Mix in 2 tablespoons of tzatziki sauce. You can eat it like this or put it on a pita but what I like to do is RIP up half a pita and mix it in after I've mixed in the tzatziki sauce so it doesnt get soggy. If I bring it to work I wait to do the mix in there because of the sogginess factor of mixing too early. For dinner you can take those same 3 ingredients and add them to pasta or farro or salad with any thing you like on the staples list.

Eggs are a great source of protein but made you could add some eggs, spinach and feta or something to change it up. Or ham and American

You need to change to the green plan and count more points for a while anyway until you get used to the "free" items. Eggs have calories so eating so many would have been 24 points (more if fried in oil or butter) Not only are you cheating yourself of 26 points, you are not getting enough Healthy fruits and veggies in your diet. You can still have your favorite food every day just not so much. Best of luck! You can do this.

If you are hooked on eggs (they are delicious! ), it may be worth easing their blow / adding some mealtime diversity by preparing them in a more nutrient dense way- poaching them, making a frittata, or quiche. So you're still getting EGG, but also more of what will help you feel most healthful. This is one of our favorites -

A dozen eggs a day is too much imo. calories and cholesterol worries. I try to limit myself to 2-4 a day max.
