I’m stuck at around 10 lbs weight loss. I stick to my daily points and have only gone over twice - ever. I recently switched from blue to green about 3 days ago. I do tend to use a lot of my points at night to snack. It’s like once the sun goes down I’m starving. Any ideas or suggestions?

You lost 2 lbs in a week which is normal. Weighing daily isn’t the best way to really keep track. Daily weights can really fluctuate a lot.

Omg @trash you could have written this post about me. I too was on blue and switched to green when it came into existence. At night I save enough points to allow me a snack size bag of spokes - 3 points and drink tea and cold water

I weigh every day BUT I don’t worry about the fluctuations. You weigh every day but I think it’s messing with your head. 2. 1 lbs in 10 days is a good weight loss!

@methylal53000 yeah I think the daily weight checking is messing with me.

Don’t weigh every day

@geoponic think you’re right. I have OCD so it’s going to be hard for me to not weigh everyday, but it’s extremely discouraging.

Ive gone from 172 to 166 in the matter of a week. If I would have weighed myself in between all of that AND tracked it I would have had an aneurysm. fluctuations are normal, try and stick to weighing once a week or twice! :)

What do u eat for breakfast n lunch
by (1.4k points)
@rigidify this is a typical breakfast/lunch for me. Sometimes I make an omelette, or a breakfast taco instead of scrambled eggs, but generally it’s this.

@trash your protein looks awesome. That helps me stay satisfied during the day

Use your points and don't weigh daily. You'll get fixated on every little up and down instead of major trends in your weight. Also eat protein.

@selfsacrifice when I was on blue I ate a TON of eggs. Almost one in every meal. On the green plan I can’t though. I’m not a big meat eater but I do try to eat fish when I can.

Stop weighing every day. Our weight fluctuates off and on depending upon a lot of things and you are only driving yourself nuts. Pick a day and a time and do that every week. Otherwise stay off the scale!

@objectionable I think you’re right. I’m making myself crazy.

. you shouldn’t be tracking your weight everyday. weighin that’s fine but do not track it, you’ll think you aren’t winning. Zero point foods (watch them, they’re not AYCE) Don’t eat 3hrs before bedtime Last food intake should be high in protein ((keep grilled chicken breast on hand. eat it cold, you’ll want to eat less when it’s cold ))

I lost 90 pounds in about two years. What I can tell you is that the way my body works is that I would lose nothing for about 12 weeks and then I would drop about 3 pounds and then lose nothing for another 12 weeks and then drop about 3 pounds in a week. Please remember you are in this for the long-haul. You were doing something right for your body if you are following the plan. Do not let that number on the scale dictate your progress. And do not expect it to be fast.

Stop weighing yourself daily! Once a week, same time, same clothes is better, our bodies fluctuate hourly, and stop giving yourself a tough time, stick to your points, use your weeklies if you want and try to increase your activity slightly each day. You'll see a difference. Well done you for starting this journey but please please please enjoy it or it won't work! Good luck
