Anyone else fall off the wagon on weekends? I do so well during the week, then on the weekend it’s out the window. It doesn’t help that my family doesn’t diet so they eat out and want me to join them. I just started so I don’t have will power yet to say NO

That is exactly what I do! Eat so good during the week and lose my brain come Friday night

Find a go to dish at your usual restaurants. Choose ahead of time what you’ll have. My usuals are grilled salmon with veg, a steak sandwich with salad or lettuce wraps. Lots of places have their menus online so you can preplan that way, too.

Saturday’s I eat zero point foods during the day so when we go out I can enjoy my meal and have a drink or two.

Since I know I’m going to have more difficulty on weekends I try to plan for the high point foods I’m going to have. I decide at least a few days ahead and just let it come off my weeklies. It’s controlled and deliberate so I don’t go as crazy. Plus I feel like if I decide on the one thing I’ve really been craving it’s more rewarding. I’m still dropping weight steadily and was down 19 lbs at last weigh in!

I usually have drinks on Friday and Saturday nights so I track those and then any eating out items we may have and then eat with the points I have left, usually only use a few weeklies, been losing consistently

If you’re eating out . check your choice before you go there and be the first one to order. If eating too much is the problem . what zero point foods do you like. stock up on them. Go to your regular meeting and a Saturday meeting. If drinking is the problem . number 5 bottles of water 1 to 5 . only have alcohol after the fifth bottle is finished. Drink a full bottle of water before breakfast . lunch and supper. If going out to eat have a zero lunch and breakfast. Can you exercise for 30 minutes? I have an album on my photos called WW full of motivation . if you like I can post some for you!

I use some of my weekly points every Saturday to go out to eat. I eat low point breakfast and lunch, then enjoy dinner out 1 time a week.

@breebreech that’s exactly what I do too! I need that one cheat meal a week!
by (3.7k points)
@slimy it’s not a cheat meal if you have the points for it

That’s my struggle. My problem is I don’t have a set routine in the weekends. During the week, my routine is pretty tight. But on the weekends it’s all out the window!

I weigh in on Fridays and the use my weeklies on the weekends. That gives me enough time to burn it off before my next weigh in  weekends are definitely tough though sometimes

I eat fish and salad and a veg and drink mostly water and just a little wine and try and eat slowly!

We eat out at least twice a week. WW has taught me how to make better decisions when ordering food. Pretty much everywhere has some sort of chicken or fish that is not fried. I normally order a couple of vegetables to go with my meat and bypass the ever present bread and so far I have done well.

Nope. Impossible to fall “off the wagon” with planning. I save my weekly and activity points for the weekends. Likewise, if I know I have something big coming I try to roll over a few points each day as well. What plan are you on? Green makes points more flexible each day than blue and purple. I can eat zero point fruit and veggies until dinner and then enjoy 25 points of amazing food that night.

I get it! My daughter plays travel hockey so we are always at hotels on the weekends. Apples! I eat like 3 a day! Fills you up and is 0 points. Then I eat with the team and watch proportions
