I need your help!  I started WW Purple on 11/17/19.I need your help! I started WW Purple on 11/17/19. I eat almost all the daily points, cook just about every I work out up 3-5 times a week on my recumbent bike, drink a lot of water and all I lost so far is 5 lbs. I was hurt in a car accident last year and my sleep pattern is messed up and the neurologist put on Amytriptaline. I read one gains weight on that medication and tried to stay positive by thinking “ at least I lost some instead of gaining “.  I have to say I’m seeing I’m fitting better into my clothes, but I don’t feel encouraged because the weight doesn’t come off. I need to lose about 40-45 pounds but at the rate I’m going, I think I’ll lose it by the time I’m 80! ( I’m 56). Any suggestions please? I’m to the point of giving up.  Thank You All!

Eat your points, don’t overdo on zero point foods, especially fruit. Keep working out and drinking water! Try eating more fish and possibly fewer carbs. Also, you may want to keep a food diary and go over it with your coach, or leader, whatever the right term is now! Congratulations on your great efforts!

Just keep reminding yourself that slow loss is sustainable loss. It's taken me a year and a half to lose 55 lbs, 12 to go, and I am losing even slower now. I know how discouraging it is when we see people losing a lot quickly, but remember that if you lose quickly your odds of gaining it back are greater. You are developing healthy habits, keep up with what you're doing. You got this!

Have you taken your measurements? If not you need to and then take them at least once a month. Sounds like your losing inches first. I’ve always said I don’t care if I weigh 300 pounds as long as I look like I weigh 123  hang in there it sounds like you’re doing the program correctly so the body has to line ups

I’m 57 and the metabolism is at rock bottom. You might need to mix things up with the foods, make sure you measure out foods ( zero doesn’t mean any amount) and keep moving in different activities. don’t give up!

Thank you so much for your encouragement, ladies! I’m going to take my measurements and I will probably try the green plan for a few weeks.
