Points are kind of like a nutritional value. Each plan gives you a different amount of daily points, based on your weight and what you need to lose. The foods you choose to eat are given point values that you basically exchange each day.

Points are calculated by calories, sat fat, sugar and protein. Everything you eat has points with the exception of "free foods". You are assigned a daily total based on your age, gender, and starting weight. It is a wonderful program.
