I opened my WW app after my weigh in and my weekly points dropped from 42 to 35. I thought only dailies dropped. Does anyone know the answer? I checked with the online chat. The coach said weeklies also drop. I don’t completely trust the answer because they’ve been wrong before.

Yep the answer is correct - you now require less food so both drop

I only get 21 weeklies. isn’t that low. Does anyone else get this small amount?
by (1k points)
@prajna yes I do. But you can add rollover points to your weeklies
by (10.8k points)
@convalesce245 I know that but I was just surprised that mine start so low. Doesnt really matter because I never use them but I was just curious
by (16k points)
@prajna how much do you weigh?
by (10.8k points)
@mullet8 Wow. I wonder why? My weigh in day is Thursday also. I think I will ask this week.

Both points drop depending on your current weight

I rather keep getting less points with weight loss then gain points due to gaining weight.

When you tap into weeklies (by going over your daily points) they WILL go down. ✔️
by (1.7k points)
@leifeste right. But I hadn’t entered any weeklies or dailies. It was a fresh new week.

Every week on your weigh in day your weeklies and daily total start fresh. If you don’t eat all your daily’s on any given day, up to 4 will be added from that day to your weekly total allotment. No more then 4. If you have 2 points left at the end of the day then 2 will go to your weeklies. Not 4. If you have 3 left over at the end of the day, those 3 will go to your weeklies. They will keep building in total every day till your weigh in day. If you choose not to eat your weeklies on your weigh in day you loose them. The day you weigh, you start all over once again from your allotted given amounts.

@paduasoy I understand. But it was a fresh new week. After I weighed in, my weeklies had reset and so, of course, had my dailies. I’m on the blue plan. I’m at 23 points daily and I was at 42 points weekly, but this time my weeklies only reset to 35 instead of 42. From the other comments, it does make sense that once you’re at the lowest daily points (and I have been for several weeks), that in order to continue losing weight my weeklies may need to drop. It was a surprise, though. I guess I never lost enough weight before (all the times I started and stopped WW) to see the weeklies drop.

I'm at 23 daily and 35 weekly as well.

Hi Kim, I remember being shocked too but at some point they go down. Which makes sense as the smaller we get the lass food we need to fuel our bodies.

They drop mine by one every five pounds I lose.
by (1.7k points)
@strafford is that dailies? My dailies dropped by one every so often with weight loss.
by (10.6k points)
@kass884 yes dailies. I don’t pay much attention to weeklies. They seem to change all the time

Yes they drop as you lose weight. Think of it as if your starting calories are 2000 then to keep losing weight as you do it goes down to 1800 then 1600 eventually you are down to 1200 the same with points.

It would make sense that they would all drop. Otherwise, it would leave the door open for extra and unnecessary points.

Mine did a long time ago and I also checked online, the coach checked and said it was correct. It’s gone up and down but has been the same thing for a long time now that I’m on maintenance.

Weeklies drop also. Mine went from 35 to 28. My dailies are 23, the lowest you can go. I look at it as a positive sign that you're losing weight and going in the right direction. I never set out to use my weeklies so therefore I don't miss them. ☺
by (1.7k points)
@voronezh unfortunately, I do use them. Have to readjust.
by (9.7k points)
@kass884 :I don't set out to use them. I don't follow WW 100% as far as using the recipe builder, so I figure it evens out in the end. Good luck to you. ☺

Yes. Both weekly and daily drop as you lose. At some point though, you reach the minimums.
