Well, now that it's getting warmer, oatmeal is not the best breakfast. Need the lowest point cereal on blue? Thanks

I use half a container of a Premier protein, vanilla flavor as the milk on my cereal. 1 point and so much protein, makes me feel full much longer than skim milk!
by (330 points)
@stowell that’s a great idea, I never thought of adding premier protein shake

I microwave oats and then put the cooked oats in a shake usually with PB and banana sometimes Greek yogurt sometimes blue berries anything. Add sugar free blueberry syrup if u wish. I tried that and not a fan but if mixed with a dab. It is ok. Make a small shake with oats. Creamy.

I’m not a cereal person. Black beans, salsa, topped with a couple of eggs ( fried with Pam) awesome, 0 points and lists of protein so you won’t be hungry too soon!

Oatmeal is still the best breakfast. Try it as overnight oats and if you're tight on time it can be prepared about an hour before eating

What point range are you looking for? I rotate through 3-4 breakfasts: 2 eggs w/1oz low fat cheese (3pts), same but with Al Fresco breakfast sausage patty (5pts), Special K protein cereal w/premier protein shake and banana (7pts), or Kodiak pancakes with 2tbsp chocolate PB2 and banana with 1tbsp sugar free syrup (6pts)
by (3.1k points)
@proptosis871 same as yours, 3-4 but I need something I can just eat like cereal because yes I'm hungry when I wake up but not awake enough to make something like pancakes.  And not sure if I like the idea of cold oatmeal. ‍♀️
by (2.9k points)
Something a lot of people forget is that just cuz it's breakfast, that doesn't mean you have to have "breakfast" food. Have a sandwich if that's easier to make. Cook up some chicken with seasoning the night before and have it cold the next morning. Anything goes.
by (1.7k points)
@proptosis871 i do chicken stirfry! I also love avocado toast or egg and avocado toast, peanut butter and banana on toast.

Oatmeal will keep you full until your next meal. It's healthy and good for you. I like it with a handful of blueberries, and keep a bag of frozen, unsweetened blueberries in the freezer. Got some fresh ones the other day because the frozen section was pretty lean. but I love my Oatmeal.

Not cereal, but what's been working for me is a carb balance tortilla (2 pts on blue) and an egg and hot sauce. Some days I add 2 pts worth of shredded cheese. Very yummy and low in pts. GOOD.

I'm looking for a cereal that's not multigrain. I know that sounds weird but whole grain doesn't agree with my IBS issues.

I ordered Magic Spoon frosted o's. Expensive but it has 12 g protein and lower carbs. Out of desperation today, tried sprinkling a half tube of one of those water flavored additives from the Dollar Store to Greek yogurt and it was really good with 5 frozen cherries. I could eat it for breakfast and be content.
