Feeling really disappointed right now. Was so excited to try WW and have been on blue for about 5 weeks. Maybe lost 3 pounds, I gained back a pound. I track daily stay within my points and have a gym in my home I use 6 days a week. I don’t know if I should switch plans? Any ideas? I so so many success stories and feel inspired but don’t know what I am doing wrong.
Feeling really disappointed right now.

Are you tracking everything

You can try switching colors, but let’s look at some other things. What are you typically eating in a day? Are you drinking water? Do you find yourself hungry often? Do you use your weeklies?

Be mindful of how many zero point foods you are consuming. Just because they are zero doesn't mean you can have as many as you want. You can certainly have quite a bit, but even zeroes add up.

I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong, muscle weighs more. If you’re working out 6 days per week, you could be gaining. That’s just my opinion

@canaletto29 Muscle is more dense but it does not weigh more a pound is a pound whether it’s a muscle or fat it’s always the same

You might need to eat more.

I agree with trying green. I lost 50 pounds on smart points ( which is green now I’m pretty sure) and when it changed to freestyle I gained. It just didn’t work for me. Changing plans might be what you need too!

Start on green, once you get used to portions, you can go back to Blue. You are probably eating too many 0 point foods.
by (1.1k points)
@indiaindiaman159 thanks I might try that out.

But considering the situation we are all in, I think down 2 is good!

You might be gaining muscle. Take measurements. And don't be discouraged.

@ar8228 thanks for advice.

I met my goal a month ago and have begun working out a lot more. I’ve gained 3 lbs but I look much slimmer.

I feel your pain. I started on March 7th. I lost 4. 4 pounds the first week, stay within my points every single day, and have lost nothing since! Beyond discouraged!
by (2.3k points)
@grimona take a look at what you are eating. Are you eating too many zero point foods? Not enough water? I know for me I have to look at what I ate to understand what is going on. I didn’t lose two weeks ago and it was because I ended up drinking too much diet soda, had too much sodium. I track all my zero point fooda
by (10.1k points)
@justajustemilieu I don’t think so. I don’t drink soda at all. Like everyone else, I can’t attend meetings, so I will have to wait until we can have real meeting again I guess.
by (2.3k points)
@grimona I’ve been struggling too without being able to attend meetings. I felt more accountability when I had to actually go to a meeting
by (10.1k points)
@justajustemilieu yes, same here!
by (1.1k points)
@justajustemilieu wow I started drinking Diet Pepsi when I started this as a way to have something sweet! I have realized I quit drinking as much water too. This week I will try increasing my water and less soda. Thanks!
by (2.3k points)
@dinadinah85208 you’re welcome! I started tracking the amount of soda I drank and realized it was too much and replacing water

I’m new to WW! What are the colors? I just signed up and got a daily point allowance and weekly point allowance. I’m trying to learn to make sense of it. Thanks.

I would def take measurements, especially if you’re working out. I always lose inches before the scale shows anything. And in the current situation, I would def not get discouraged with any loss. Keep going! You got this!

As a coach I would ask you, the zero pt. foods, are you eating a serving size when you eat them?

Do you eat lots of carbs?

Don’t change, it’s the working out. Keep up what you’re doing. All of a sudden it will balance out

Check if you have inches and not pounds, that happens

You have to be very careful with your 0 points , they have calories

Don't change! It's like changing lanes but you still get stuck in the slow one. WW is not a quick fix. I've been 16 months and down 81 lbs. Yes it can be slow but it's DOWN! Even if you go up a pound or two or three it's progress. Remember progress NOT perfection. This time is really hard. I'm an aquatics fitness instructor and my pool is closed. I'm trying to do land stuff but I have bad knees. Do I do the right thing everyday? NO! I make the next meal be on track. Remember this is not a race but a journey. We can do this.

How much do you work out? perhaps you need to eat some fitpoints. also do high protein if you are working out on ww. additionally look at your water intake. you need alot. are you eating the same things ecery day or different things? If its the same maybe switch up what you are eating.

I don't so the weight watchers plan, but ma6be it's the type of food you're eating. My biggest meal of the day is lunch, I drink a LOT of water, not many carbs, no sugar, fruit in the morning. Etc. But. every body is differrent. Maybe try varying the kind of exercise you're doing and make sure you're getting enough sleep. Are you feeling good physically?

I love carbs. I know I need more water and veggies.
by (5.9k points)
@dinadinah85208 then start with that before switching! Half the plate veggies, a quarter or a third protein and a little carbs to fill the rest. I often see pictures with 2 types of carbs and a handful of veggies, but the other way around is much healthier and still satisfying

@dinadinah85208 I notice if I do carbs I do not loose it's a struggle hang in there

I have only been on green so I can’t tell you if I like one plan better than another but i have lost 17 lbs. these are crazy times and when I am stressed weight hangs on to me. I have become really creative with cooking and everything is so flavourful. I rarely eat raw veggies. I do eat fruit. Prepping my lunches on Sunday is a game changer for me.

It was an adjustment from the WW I was use to but I stuck with it Blue and lost 40 lbs in 6 months, I didn’t lose much at first so I used my fitness app to track calories n it helped me to make better choices, good luck on your journey!

I hate to say it but maybe you're working out too much? Maybe some weight is muscle? My husband has lost 30 and I've lost 16 (my goal was 15) in 10 weeks not working out this time. Maybe work out 3 times a week.

Stick to it. An average of 1 pound a week is perfect. 0 point foods for breakfast and lunch and then a nice dinner.
by (1.1k points)
@hanshaw16 what is a typical lunch for 0 points? I know eggs for breakfast.
by (510 points)
Buy real sliced turkey breast or chicken. Not the lunch meat kind. I also eat starkist buffalo tuna packets. 99% ground turkey that is leftover from dinner with lettuce, black beans, and salsa. I also use Mission Ole tortillas occasionally for wraps as they are 1 point.
by (510 points)
@dinadinah85208 I like plain Okios Greek yogurt with frozen triple berries for a snack. Let the berries thaw a bit and add stevia to taste.

Watch free pts foods. They can be tricky, they do add up to calories.
