Yes, I would certainly suggest that you attend at least one workshop to get it all explained to you then go online. good luck to you

Purple has the most 0 point foods but less daily points. Green has the least 0 point foods but more daily points. Blue is in the middle. If you did WW lately, blue was the standard plan. If you did it a while ago, green was. Purple would be “core”.

There is daily points and if you use all of the daily it subtracts from the weekly ones. I treat the weekly like cheat points, but try not to go over my daily. I didn’t choose a plan their was a little questioner that picked for me when I signed up.

I'd highly suggest going to a meeting for the orientation.

If you can't go to meetings (which I think is a good idea), I suggest you go on the actual WW website, then to "MyWW" and "Getting Started. " Read about each plan. In fact, read all the sections, including how to use the app. That should help you get started. In fact, I suggest you do both, especially if you are brand new to WW. If, once you get comfortable with the program you decide to go back to online only, at least you will have a good knowledge of the basics.

Each coloured plan has different points allowances and different zero point food lists. You choose the one that suits you best (it chooses for you after a quiz but you can override it in your settings).

The on line tutorial gives you a lot of info but going to a meeting will help too. You may have to pay for the meeting though. All plans are about 1200 calories so pick the one you think best suits your eating style.

Points are based on the color you chose. Every color gets different points.
