I try to alternate and have lots of frozen and canned as well--canned corn, green beans mixed veg, frozen brocooli, green beans, riced cauliflower, etc--for fresh buy squash, red peppers, zucchini, apples, etc they stay good for a while--I have only purchase vegetables and fresh once (this past week) since a big shop to prepare on 3/9 and have had something fresh every day.
