I have been on purple for 3 months. I enjoy the added number of zero point foods as it takes away some stress in choices ( I love air popped popcorn for example no points) also potatoes, brown rice all fill me up! However I am an avid tracker of everything I eat! I plan my days and work the program, this is for life not a quick weight loss and done.

Keep it simple. just follow the guidelines. Merely changing options doesn't change the premise. Plan, track, eat.

Watch the extra zero point foods. They have calories. The difference is you track them on green. I was on purple and thought oh oatmeal is zero and I would have it for breakfast and a snack and so forth. It's worth 5 points so those can add up.

Purple forced me to make wiser snack choices (that was a positive change)

Free foods are great - and taste good too---no need for WW "healthy potato chips". Sure you have to watch quantities and I track them, but do not measure - that is the advantage of purple. If you weigh and measure and count the points, you might as well be on one of the other tracks. I think it is a good stab at plain healthy eating.

Enjoy it! Zero points does not mean zero calories. You still need to be mindful of portions!

Watch your portion size on Purple. It’s easy to overeat on zero point foods.

I am on purple. I do NOT limit my zero point foods. You get so few points that if you limit your zeroes as well, you will not be eating enough.

I did the same and cottage cheese was zero on purple but has points in green (I think! ) so monitor everything. All you have remember that this is a way of life, not a diet. Keep going even though you may feel that you're not losing any, you will in time. We all have a bad day occasionally, try not to do it too often and start again the next day.

Always remember ”free” foods don’t have points but they have calories! Good luck

I think purple will be heavenly compared to green. You’ll actually have some food choices

I've lost 30 pounds on purple sin Jan 1st. the best advice I can give you is. track everything! I even track my free points and then once in awhile I will look and see what all my calories are adding up at to make sure I am not over eating. Good Luck! I love it because you can have baked potatoes! LOL
