I’m totally frustrated.  I’ve been 136ish for a long time.I’m totally frustrated. I’ve been 136ish for a long time. I want to get back to my goal of 123 (I made lifetime twice postpartum) This week I got really diligent about tracking everything and trying to eat clean. I did have a lifesaver but I tracked it! I started back at the gym. I still have 40 “extra” points. And I gained 3. 5 pounds. How is that even possible?!? With my old unhealthy habits at least I maintained. What am I doing wrong?

Water retention, sore muscles, hormones imbalanced, sodium intake, or time if the month, there could be a few things that could cause it. I wouldn’t worry too much about it though. Go off of how your clothes fit! Good luck!

Maybe try green for awhile. I think it has less free foods. Maybe it will shock your system into weight loss. Also, sometimes when you start working out the scale goes up a little.

You have to remember you just started working out, your going to gain from swollen, sore muscles and you are also gonna end up gaining muscle mass by doing that. Just keep up what you are doing!

Eat all of your points otherwise the body thinks you are starving it and will store the fat

Just had 2nd baby 7 weeks ago and have been tracking for two weeks and started back at the gym and scale isn’t budging ! Wondering if I should switch from the blue plan to another . ? Feeling discouraged ‍♀️

@planish are you breastfeeding? I just had my fifth and have been on purple for a month and have only lost 6 pounds . I even ramped up workouts this last week. I walked 12 miles this week and lost . 4 pounds. It’s discouraging but I keep thinking it is a marathon not a sprint. Good luck

Your body is trying to adjust. Stay the course. It will happen

Make sure you are eating enough too-especially if you are working out. Not eating enough puts your body in starvation mode and will cause it to not work efficiently and you can gain wait.

Don't be scared of consuming all of your daily points, have them healthy though. Fiber, good fats, good source of protein. Don't be scared of your points. Also, as mentioned above, us women retain a lot of water during the month (gym, period, stress). Don't worry. No matter what you do, DON'T GIVE UP! You got this!

Are you eating enough for the increased work out? Protein and healthy fats help the losing process

I think this is normal in the beginning with adding the gym. My BIGGEST factor is drinking about 100oz of water a day or I don’t lose.

Good luck reaching your goal weight. Don’t give up. Sometimes our body runs into a jam. it has happened to me before. I’m trying to lose 25 pounds and it’s been rough. Just keep pushing yourself and soon you’ll get the results you want

The scale does not tell the truth of your progress. The tape measure does. If you are working out you are also probably gaining muscle

I would throw in one week of counting calories too, I was meeting my points, but only eating 900-1100 calories per day. It caused my body to go a little crazy.

I’m going to echo others. I run/do dedicated cardio 4 times a week and strength train 3x a week. I lose more weight eating all of my points and my weeklies. Protein is a must but balance that with high fiber veggies.
