Hello, my name is tamina and I just joined weight watchers. And I’m assigned the blue plan. I currently weight 278 pounds and that is heaviest I’ve ever been. I know I need to make a huge lifestyle change and I’m ready to do the. My goal is to get down to a 130-140 pounds. I have a couple questions that I’m hoping I can get answered and also get some extra support on: 1. How many you are also on the blue plan? And with being on the blue plan what has helped you to be successful? 2. And if you are on the blue plan and don’t mind sharing, How much weight have you lost since joining Weight Watchers? 3. And tips you can share with me that will help me be successful? 4. What are you must have foods that you stock up on when you go to the store that are also healthy?

I am also on the blue plan. On WW for a month now and lost about 12 pounds but I been on a new lifestyle change since January 2020 and lost a total of 38 pounds. I walk 6 days a week 6 miles a day. I started off slow 20 minute walk and worked my way up. I stopped eating fast food, candy, chips, sodas . We eat out occasionally now. I cook very often now. I eat a lot of chicken and shrimp, fruits and veggies and drink a lot of water.

I started on blue and lost the most on it. Follow the plan, it works! I would track what you normally eat and see their point values, then start tweaking from there. One meal at a time.

I am on blue, I have lost 46 pounds since August 2019, should have been more but it what it is. I build my meals around 0 point foods add in good carbs and healthy fats. I drink a lot of water. The program works but you have to count points, weigh and measure your food. You can do it!

I am on blue. Have lost 11 lbs in 6 weeks. My husband has made quite a few of the WW recipes for me. love the Chicken Tortilla Soup! Walking every morning with my bestie. I weigh on Fridays which is also my "cheat day". I allow myself some of my favorite food and drink that day. Makes it easier to stay on track the rest of the time.

I've been on blue and have lost 14. 2 lbs since March 12. I keep boneless skinless chicken breasts, plain no fat Greek yogurt because there are so many recipes, black beans, chick peas, salad makings, deli turkey breast (I have it sliced at the deli) and fresh fruit. I use lite balsamic vinaigrette on salads, or use the Greek yogurt and 1 pack of Hidden Valley ranch for a zero point dressing or dip.

I am on blue . love having all the free foods. it’s a big help. and have lost 58 lbs since January 2019. slow and steady but I was 71 when I started once again and this time it is working. take it one day at a time . it gets easier and don’t beat yourself up if you mess up. just get back on track the next day. try salads, grapes, bananas, containers of healthy choice turkey, breast, progressive light soups, popcorn, laughing cow cheese wedges, tea, diet ginger ale, eggs, Canadian bacon. you can do this. one day at a time. good luck

I’ve been on blue since I joined in August of 2018. I love it. It’s sustainable. I’ve lost 200lbs on this plan. Stay consistent with your eating and movement — even weeks the scale doesn’t move! Sometimes it takes your body a second to catch up! And don’t be too hard on yourself!

I've been on blue since the end of January and lost 24 1/2 lbs. Air fryer is a must for me. Lots of veggies, chicken and eggs. Sugar free sweets in moderation and only when I crave them.

Popcorn is your new best friend. Air popped of course. Eat lots of it and anytime you want a snack have popcorn or fruit/veg and you’ll lose weight. Stay away from bread, pasta, rice

Track everything that goes in you mouth. Be honest in tracking and measure and weigh your food. 1 ounce of cheese is not as much as you think it is. Meal prep, meaning make ahead snacks salads etc for busy days. It makes life and sticking to the plan easier. Plan the weeks menu ahead of time so there’s no chance of grabbing something easy and unhealthy Drink lots of water. Experiment with food so you don’t get bored. 0 point foods have calories so you shouldn’t eat all you want. I limit fruit to 2 a day. If I’m really hungry in the evening I may do 3. If you eat bread at breakfast, limit how much starchy foods you eat the rest of the day. I try to keep bread, potatoes and rice to no more than 2 servings a day. Try to keep to serving sizes. I’m 70 and lost 40 lbs. unfortunately I went off track for almost a year and gained back 20. So I’m back at it and so far doing I’m well. You have to look at this as a lifetime change of how we look at food. It’s. It a diet. It’s how we need to eat for the rest of our lives to maintain a healthy body and mind. When we’ve lost weight and get healthy we feel good and that effects us mentally. Sorry for the long post. If you are doing WW on line go to their Connect group. That and the Facebook site will give you lots of recipe ideas and lots of support. Good luck to you. One more thing lol try to incorporate a daily exercise routine. If I can’t walk outside I do Leslie Sansone walk away the ponds videos
