I was excited to be heading toward the land of 160's but back up to 171 from 170 last week. I'm drinking 80-84oz h20 daily, but don't get it, any tips?

Stress releases cortisol which is a natural steroid. Steroids make it easy to gain weight, hard to lose - even natural steroids. Been under any stress the last few weeks? Try not to worry, this is a normal sign of the times.

Do proteins/low carbs/veggies for a few days until the scale starts heading down again. I've had to add intermittent fasting too. I've changed up plans a few times too. Whenever I've gotten stuck I switch it up.

@avie3444 I already eat that way. Maybe I will do the fasting. Thx. I don't think I was eating enough veggies.

@cittern Intermittent fasting sounds more complicated than it is. I eat from 11:30am to 7:00pm.

@avie3444 I have actually done it before when I was doing Keto over a year and a half ago or so. I just have to be more disciplined

@intarsia85957 I am short 5ft 1 inches, and need to get down to 135 or even 130 if possible. I am coming from 197, but I am just anxious to lose it all I guess lol

@unwatched what's the best brand of green tea you can recommend?
by (18.1k points)
@cittern . I just use the green tea by Lipton’s all natural, it may be better brands out there I’m quite sure. I haven’t did the research on that because Lipton has been getting the job done. My energy has went up, appetite down, weight loss down and improved brain function. My co-worker husband had to lose weight as well. He noticed and received the same benefits as me. He drinks one cup before bed. I drink one cup with my oatmeal in am and one cup before bed. A lot of good benefits from drinking green tea

@unwatched I have been hearing about it for years, but I start and don't follow through with it. I actuality found some in my Cabinet and drinking a cup now. We shall see. Thx for taking the time out to write me this vital information. Take care!
