My new norm is talking to myself. No one can hear me except the cats and they already think I’m crazy.

I would love to walk but it has been damn cold here! Today and yesterday it finally go up to +2. Windchill still down to -10 and lower. And we had snow again today so getting around has been a challenge. The sidewalks have not been cleared and the roads are still slippery. I can't wait to get out in the sunshine and walk some of these pounds off. I would go to the gym but it's closed.

My elderly parents and my daughter live with me. I've been off work since March 16. My daughter is a nurse at a retirement home. Thankful for this extra time with my parents. Thankful my daughter's work is virus free so far. Baking more but either freeze half or give half to my son. He has his own place and is still working so lots of worrying.

We’ve done a couple family zoom meetings also. I have been doing W W for over 5 years. My health has improved greatly. I do some on line Zumba classes too but hard to stay motives. I do walks also yesterday was really miserable started to sprinkle came home . I gained 2 pounds also . I guess just do our best. I still go to physical therapy for the replaced shoulder. Doing Strengthening it’s going to slow it is hard not to get discouraged.

My new normal is ordering groceries from instacart instead of shopping for them myself ( which I actually enjoy) I’m not quite as paranoid with the quarantine protocol after they arrive. It used to bring on a lot of anxiety disinfecting everything, doubting myself that I was doing it properly. I’ve fallen into an easy 10 minute you tube exercise routine in the afternoon. That’s the best thing that has come of this pandemic in my now sheltered life. That helps tremendously for the mental state of being home day after day. I’m immune compromised, so i had to accept I’m just going out for drives around town and that’s it. I feed the squirrels, go outside and kick the soccer ball around with my sons or shoot some hoops with them. Just trying to stay positive in a crappy, scary situation. Every Friday, my family gets curbside take out and I drink wine lol.

I’m working from home, so I still don’t have a lot of luxury time. However, about 3-4 days a week I work out during my lunch break (if I take one). I’m also able to get in about an hour of reading after work, before my husband gets home from work. I can’t do that stuff when I have to go to the office.

I walk daily and do other workouts 3x a week (way more than I exercised before I was working from home). I do great on my eating through dinner. Then I have a couple drinks and continue to eat and eat like the hungry caterpillar until bedtime.

Since I can’t go to the gym, I get up as if I was (only an hour later) and go outside and jog/walk my stairs for 30-45 minutes. Work from home. Then take the old puppy out for a 1/2 mile walk. Then it’s ass time with the couch.

Walk twice a day. Only eat from 12pm to 8pm. I’m not a breakfast eater. Drinking more water. Attending bible study via conference calls. Ride a stationary bike in the evening while watching BBC mini series. We’re retired. Between all that along with my husband helping to take care of my dad. Still trying to track! Attending weekly virtual WW meetings.

Exercising every morning, but pretty much eating anything I want. I know I shouldn't, but being in the house everyday (which I am grateful I am not sick & at home) just gets me a little down. Food seems like a reward, which I know really isn't. ☹
