I use a side dish of lemon juice or vinegar. Dipping it just enough for flavor on the bottom of the bite. Wakes up everything and cleanses my esophagus.

Get a good olive oil and sushi seasoning (it's a sweet vinegar and so good) with salt and fresh pepper. It's luxurious. If you want to love your salad, use interesting veggies so you look forward to eating it every day. My daily salads are a treat. I prep them on sundays to grab and go. So yummy.

Seriously though, it’s amazing how your tastebuds adjust as I rarely have dressings anymore. So long as the salad ingredients themselves are tasty then I don’t use it. But if the salad is a majority of bitter leaves then coat it liberally in Caesar dressing!  . and whipped cream. . and cake. . and red wine and cheese and chorizo.

If you like ranch dressing, I've been making my own buttermilk ranch using 1/2 a generic dressing mix packet, 1/2 cup of plain non-fat Greek yogurt, and teaspoon of mayo, and a dash of almond milk (to help thin it out).
