Anyone else scared to eat throughout the day in fear of being hungry later and not having points left so then you find yourself with 20 points at 7 pm? I just started back on Friday but I remember doing this previously.

We have been talking about pretracking at meetings. Write down everything you will eat that day, it may change, but you will not be able to blow it all in one meal if you balance it out throughout the day

Eating zeros all day and binging at night without counting is not a good plan, trust me

I wouldn’t say I’m scared to eat throughout the day, but I do eat as many zero points foods throughout so I have enough later on

Also is it bad to save the points so you can have a big meal at the end of the day? I really like eating big dinners but I’m scared this may hinder my loss

My doctor told me that eating my bigger meals with carbs earlier in the day, and a lighter meal in the evening, is better for me as far as losing weight.

I try to put in all of the food I'm planning on eating throughout the day, then go back and edit if something happens to change.

I try to eat evenly throughout the day. Usually about seven points for breakfast, 10 points for lunch, a few zero points snacks and fruit and veggies and then around 10 points for dinner

I eat the same breakfast every day and pre track my dinner so all I’m left figuring out is snacks and lunch. I try to leave 3-4 points for my dessert since I need that at the end of my night.

I either plan my day the day before or early in the morning so I know what I can eat all day long. Also, if I do get hungry or want a snack, I always have some 0 point foods in the house - veggies, fruit, yogurt, etc.

Im afraid of getting too hungry bc that is when I make poor choices. There r times when I'm out longer than I expected to be that I will stop and get a Banana to avoid becoming ravenous.

I always plan my supper first to make sure I have enough. Then I go for lunch and then I fast at breakfast. If I have enough for snacks I work them in.

I like to budget 3 for breakfast, 4 for lunch, and then 14 for dinner, and 2 for a snack. Depending on the dinner I might have a few leftover or can choose a different snack. Having enough points to make dinner is key for me. I do all my shopping on sunday so I sit down sunday night and pre track m-f all meals. Then I know how much wiggle room I have when unexpected snacks pop up.
