The first two weeks I was ready to eat the couch! It does get better. I still have moments, but I grab a Werther’s Sugar Free candy (5 pieces is 1 point), and I’m usually good.

@otto16206 OMG LMAO @ "the couch! "
by (460 points)
@otto16206 it’s the carb withdrawal
by (3.2k points)
@hamo858 Didn’t know my couch was made of carbs

I was exactly the opposite. I couldn't eat all of the food I needed to eat for my points. I'd been trying to starve myself to lose weight. But I adjusted after a few weeks.

Just grab water! Or zero foods!

Yes, it’s just figuring out which foods keep you full longer for less points, and having zero point foods for in between.

I think it’s our stomachs shrinking. If your like me, you’re used to eating way too big of proportions and now your eating correctly and it will take a while to adjust. I’ve been drinking water when I feel hungry because I know I have had enough to eat!

No, and im on blue. I ate alot of chicken breast with other zero filling food and fruit. Still eat chicken 3-5 times a week. You can make it so many ways. My favorite is, half a chicken breast, pound thin and put in about 1/8 cup shake n bake 1sp and air fry or pan fry, so delicious!

If on blue or purple just smash the chicken breasts on a Rotisserie chicken. Obv no skin or count the skin It’s what I do

Yes the first week or two is the toughest. Your body adjusts but if I was really hungry I would eat some chicken.

I wasn't. That has always been the best part. I felt like I was eating too much but then again I had so many points left. But I would agree to eat zero point foods and if I was too get hungry I ate hard boiled eggs.
by (1.5k points)
@triforium72 I can't eat eggs - baby is severely allergic

by (1.5k points)
@michaelmas10 probably not, I have to restock my kitchen. I also have to be careful of what I eat due to mine and my babies food allergies. No Milk, bananas, oranges, fish, nuts, soy or eggs.

Yes, once in a while even now when I've chosen less filling foods with my points! Back when I lost most of my weight on the old plan, I had nights that I went to bed hungry, almost in tears but once I realized that every point matters, I started making better choices during the day. Look carefully at what you've been eating and see if you have enough lean protein and fiber in your day. There are some days where hormones or other physical factors affect your hunger levels, those are the days to use your weeklies or fit points for some extra food.

I was constantly hungry when I first started. I am not anymore after losing 28 lbs. When you're hungry, grab fruit and a good protein like almonds, a low-fat cheese stick, or Greek yogurt. It took about a month for the constant hunger to subside. Oh, don't forget lots of water! You can do this!

Yes because I didn’t plan well the first few days. After I discovered which foods were more filling to me, it was easier to plan my day. Plus I have something every 3 hours.

Yes! Its normal and gets better. Make sure you are getting enough protein and some good fats to help with satiety.

Yes because we starved back when I started in 1979. Now WW is a GIFT. Bulk up your meals with zero point foods and try to have protein at every meal including snacks . It makes a big difference for feeling full and satisfied.
by (3.3k points)
@pervious this! When I started, it was so frustrating: I’d still be hungry at the end of a meal. Now, I start with a zero point protein, add a ton of vegetables and then add a few pointed foods like some potatoes or a sauce to round out the meal. I can honestly say I am not hungry, even between meals when I can have a one or two point snack.
