I am looking for an old ww recipe. I believe it was something like Runza Rolls. It had hamburger mixed with Cole slaw mix, and sloppy joe seasoning. It was spooned into raised rolls that were punched down, mixture added then raised again and baked. Delicious. Does anyone have a copy of the recipe? Thank you.

I found the recipe for it on google, it looks very good, I just might try it when I can find yeast again.

There used to be a low-fat frozen roll that was excellent but they took them off the market but they were good even cold. Hope you enjoy them.

Sounds like what a friend used to call bierrocks, a yeast bun with a meat filling. She said there were other fillings as well, like potato&onion, etc. I don't have a recipe.

My grandmother used to make my dad his “special treat” once a year on his b-day! From what I remember they looked like giant meatballs covered with dough. She called them wuffle puffels or something like that. Has anyone ever heard of them

I do not have a recipe and not sure if they still make low fat crescent rolls or not but you can press 2 triangles together to make a square, add a mixture- maybe be 1/3 cup or so of hamburger mixture. I make mine by browning ground beef with onion and garlic, then can add coleslaw mix and any other seasoning. And let the coleslaw mix cook down. Let it cool a bit, place in the middle of the square and bring together and pinch, turn over and bake til golden brown whatever the crescent roll can has for temp and time. You can also add anything like grated cheese, salsa, cooked mushrooms- whatever! I often use shortcut and add a can of sauerkraut and most of the juice along with caraway seeds instead of the coleslaw mix.
