Has it been hard for anyone to stay on track with everything that has been going on? I want to know if I’m the only one having trouble staying on track.

Yes, I get bored and I run to the kitchen. Gained about 5 lbs through this. Have to do better!

I am not having any issues staying on track at all. When I started I told myself I wouldn't look back, so I am chugging along and not looking or going back

We all have our habits. things we have done for a long time. We did not gain the weight overnight, over a week or a month, so to undo some of those habits will take time, but what you can CHOOSE to do is to, and it’s a conscious choice is to not let yourself take the fast and easy route. I’m sure you have the best intentions and there is drive in you. We can all do this together. The key to helping yourself is making a different decision for as many times as you can, when those cravings come. A huge help is prep things ahead. Not a huge meal, I’m talking little snacks that can help you quickly make a different choice. Vegie sticks ready to go, baggies of approved crackers, do some small bento style meals, boiled eggs. Don’t feel deflated. This program works and you will find your own way along with it

It is hard but you can do it. I am still sticking with it and now lost another pound when I weighed myself this morning. Total 18 lbs. since starting this in January after the Holidays. I feel good too. I left myself go last year and now want to loose maybe 5 more lbs. I should be good. I am under my goal weight but I like the feeling. Next month June 12th get my Hip Replacement and really have to watch. But keep the faith. I know it is hard but you can do it.

I've been terrible. When I'm at work (teaching) I don't think about eating usually until I get home. Now that I'm home all day, eating is all I think about.
by (810 points)
@proletariat9 I feel the same way. I’m also a teacher so I’m in the same boat as you.
by (830 points)
@proletariat9 same! I teach first grade. Being at home with my own 3 girls, it’s soooo hard to track and stay on track!

You are not the only one. I have done okay and haveheld pretty steady. I haven't lost weight but haven't gained either. I consider that a win. But you are not alone. We are going through a very difficult time. Be kind to yourself.

It has been a challenge for me. I do try my best to follow the plan, but very frustrating when some of the grocery items are not available. Just exercise and track daily that is what I am trying to do through this crisis! Be safe, strong and healthy and together we will get through these tough times!

You are not alone. I think everyone is one edge which increases the hormone cortisol to flood the body , making it harder to lose weight .

I've been lifetime for 20 years + and I'm having a hard time. I also retired the end on March, so I'm adjusting to that too. So far I've just gained 5 pounds, but I know how easy it is. Been walking about every day and that helps. So your not alone. Just get back on track, it works.

by (670 points)
@survive I am fortunate enough to work from home. But the bad thing of it is, easy access to food.
by (2.5k points)
I have two or three good days in a row and then--oops! Once I blow it, I always REALLY blow it. Sigh.
by (810 points)
@symptomatic453 yes. When I’m at school, I am busy and don’t think about food, but with being home all day I am bored and have easy access to food.
