I drink apple cider vinegar honey and squeeze of lemon 2 times a day for 3 days straight it resets my ph destroys sugar cravings. Not everyone can do that if they have acid reflux or ulcers thou. Chromium is a great supplement to take in the afternoon for sugar balance . thats when I get crazy hungry.

I take several. I have to, and many things that I really find helpful. I’m allergic to many meds and had to find alternatives.

I put a slice of grapefruit peel in boiled water, like a tea. And drink it. It has been a week and I can say that I got used to it and it has slowed my cravings for treats and snacks considerably.

Teaspoon of olive oil in morning coffee. It is 1 smart point. Previous iterations of WW included daily ingestion of so-called healthy oil. Olive oil is one of those oils.

When this question was posted before a lot of people recommended magnesium. I looked at a bottle but it said for bone health. Was that the correct magnesium?
by (5.5k points)
@noheminoil Nature’s Calm sells a powdered version you add to water. It helps with bone health. It also helps with muscle cramping and twitches. If you drink too much you get the trots. (Jamieson also has a Magnesium drink mix)
by (2.1k points)
@noheminoil do not take magnesium unless directed by your doctor this can cause issues with your heart. If you are not deficient in magnesium there’s no need for a supplement
by (1.2k points)
@alvy15 good to know as I have recently been taken off my high blood pressure medicine after 16 years!
by (2.1k points)
@noheminoil Good for you! That’s a great accomplishment showing how well you have been treating your body. Congrats ❤️
by (1.2k points)
@alvy15 thanks! I never expected to get off them because hbp is hereditary in my family
by (2.1k points)
@noheminoil That’s amazing. It runs in my family as well so I need to take control to avoid getting there. Thanks for the inspiration.

My belief is that if you eat steamed or raw vegetables with at least two meals you don’t need supplements.

As long as I eat plenty of whole grain high fiber foods I am fine. Fruits and vegetables do nothing for me. It has to come from the grains.
