Wondering if it’s a good idea or if anyone has switched plans with a plateau? Scale has not moved in almost two mths. While I work out regularly and drink my gallon of water a day and weigh my food etc no movement on scale. I’m currently in blue plan and have lost 32 pounds in past 8 mths. Would switching help? I need to lose like 20 more pounds!
Wondering if it’s a good idea or if anyone has switched plans with a plateau?

I lost 30 lbs on the blue plan but then nothing since so after about 2 months I just last week switched to green! This week I’m and down 2. 9 lbs. I was shocked to see how many points I was eating in free foods with blue! I really think the green will help me get the next 30 off! Hoping to have it off by November!

Following. I am also on the blue plan and was 2 pounds from goal. The last month I’ve gone up and down the same pound and a half and just can’t seem to reach goal. I follow the plan to the t. Wondering if I switch colors if it will help me.

@melissiamelita mine was today and nothing. Not sure which to switch to either. Maybe green? I was hoping someone would chime in! I am going to see what I can search up.

Which color is the strictest?
by (350 points)
@melissiamelita I just read this. Green is strictest in that you only get 30 points and have very little wiggle room because only fruits & veggies are zero points. I don't believe purple is strict at all because you're not tracking most proteins or whole grains, but it's “strict” in that you get the fewest number of points. So maybe green to switch to?

I switched from blue to green and did very well. I need to be more accountable and I am not good with the zero food options in Blue. I am glad I did.

@trueblood43838 I drink wine here and there but not enough for me to stop or see it as a problem. I work out 5-6 days a week doing HIIT, weights and long runs on Saturdays and walk a lot.

Are you dropping regularly? I was but in the past couple of weeks seem to go back and forth between 2 #s!

I have a bit of wine once or twice a week Thing is, I have a problem of being on the compulsive side. If I do something habitual it better be what helps me.

The old school ww was more like the green. And 3 servings of veggies, 2 fruit, and eat fish.

I’m in the same boat as you! I’ve lost 33-35 pounds. Been fighting 2 pounds up and 2 pounds down but can’t get past the 35 mark. I’ve been so frustrated the last 6 weeks! I ate a burger and onion rings yesterday and a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Today I had a burger and fries and plan to eat some chocolate cake. I figure if I go rogue a coupe days, I can reset and hopefully trick my metabolism into thinking I’m back to my old ways and hopefully restart the loss when I go back to eating within my 23 on Sunday or Monday.

Blue has 23 smart points and green has 30. Initially I was put on the green, but I wanted to eat all 30 lol so I switched myself to blue.

@worthington17 it’s only because on green most things are pointed except most veg and fruit Green you’ll have points for eggs chicken etc you dint get more on green

Have you tried switching up your excercise routine and tweaking the kind of foods you are eating. When I have hit plateaus I have found it helpful to limit my fruit servings to 1-2 per day , and do new and more bbn intense workouts and that has helped a lot. Keep up the great work !

@nimrod yea my workouts are pretty good. They are different everyday. I try and keep my body guessing on that. I love to workout and try new moves etc. I actually don’t eat a ton of fruit. Actually thinking i really don’t eat any. Maybe I need to add it in. I’m for sure tweaking a few things and switching over for green for a few weeks and see what happens! ‍♀️

@varhol36 also make sure you are eating enough points each day . I gained a couple times when I wasnt eating enough of my faily points then started eating more and lost

Switched from blue to green broke my plateau and I made my goal weight I hope you have the same success.
